Summary: Primary ovarian lymphoma is a rare disease that is difficult to diagnose clinically and pathologically. We reported a patient with this disease, whose clinical symptoms were mainly changes in bowel habits and abdominal pain. Through pathological examination and immunohistochemistry, primary ovarian diffuse large B-cell lymphoma was confirmed.

Summary: Bilateral diffuse infiltrates on chest imaging can be challenging to diagnose due to a wide range of potential causes, both pulmonary and non-pulmonary. Malignancy is usually not initially considered as a differential diagnosis, but this case highlights the importance of recognizing that certain malignancies can present acutely and progress rapidly to respiratory failure, particularly in cases where conventional antibiotic therapy is ineffective.

Summary: This study describes a rare case of primary CNS MZBL in the left lateral ventricle in a 48-year-old HIV-negative female patient with a history of head trauma. The findings suggest a potential role of chronic inflammation in the pathogenesis of not only primary CNS MZBL, but also lymphoma in general. The report also highlights the importance of studying the role of meningothelial cells in the development of primary CNS MZBL.

Summary: Extramedullary hematopoiesis is a pathophysiologic response where hematopoietic tissue proliferates outside the bone marrow medullary space, often associated with benign or malignant hematologic diseases. This case report describes a 61-year-old male with primary myelofibrosis presenting with extramedullary hematopoiesis in an inguinal lymph node, emphasizing the importance of integrated diagnostic approaches in challenging cases.

Summary: This study described the neurocognition of patients with primary central nervous system lymphomas involving the corpus callosum (CC) and its posttherapeutic evolution. The study found that patients commonly experienced cognitive dysfunctions, especially memory impairment, and these impairments may only partially recover even after achieving complete response. Older age and splenium location were associated with poorer neurocognitive outcomes.

Summary: This article reports a rare case of EBV-associated PCNSL complicated by CNH in an immunocompetent individual. The disease initially presented insidiously and was misdiagnosed as post-concussive syndrome. Potential neurological pathologies should be considered in patients presenting to the emergency department with falls and associated neurological symptoms, especially with unexplained blood gas abnormalities.
