Summary: The study proposes a systematic method to analyze S&S risks by integrating attack route models, cyber security prevention route, and physical safety prevention route to quantify safety and security risks, and then integrates them via the bowtie method. The method considers the simultaneity of safety and security risks in cyber-physical systems, and can accurately assess the severity of consequences and risk levels.

Summary: This paper aims to explore the relationship between enterprise safety investment decision-making and employee safety behavior strategy selection, in order to improve decision-making effectiveness. Based on traditional game theory, an evolutionary game model of enterprise safety investment and employee safety behavior strategy selection is established, and numerical simulation analysis is conducted. The results indicate that when the security investment cost is higher than the benefit, the employee's safety behavior strategy choice significantly impacts the enterprise's security investment strategy decision. However, when the security investment benefit is higher than the cost, the enterprise's security investment decision is not affected by the employee safety behavior strategy. Additionally, the employee safety behavior strategy is not influenced by the choice of enterprise safety investment strategy. This conclusion provides a reference for enterprise safety production decision-making, with both theoretical and practical significance.

Summary: The study compared the current regulatory system based on total trace element concentrations and pH with a risk-based approach using 0.01 mol L-1 CaCl2 to estimate the bioavailable fraction. The findings suggest that the current soil regulatory guidelines for safe production of Chinese flowering cabbages are overly strict and conservative, and a risk-based approach based on extractable TE concentrations would provide a better indication for plant uptake of soil TEs.

Summary: This article develops a safety analysis method that is sensitive to the possibility and severity of rare harmful outcomes. The method assesses the maximum cost of stochastic systems using Conditional Value-at-Risk and provides computationally tractable underapproximations to risk-sensitive safe sets. The article also proposes a second definition for risk-sensitive safe sets and provides a tractable method for their estimation.

Summary: Recently, the contamination of fungi in water has become a matter of concern due to its potential threat to water quality, safety, and the increased risk of diseases in immunocompromised individuals. This review summarizes the characteristics and different physiological states of fungi in water and provides a comprehensive evaluation of the control efficiency and mechanism of commonly used disinfection methods. It also discusses the security strategies against fungal contamination in terms of water sources, treatment plants, and pipe networks. The review suggests future research directions, including the development of rapid detection methods, understanding the production and control of mycotoxins, and investigating outbreak conditions of fungi in water. Exploring efficient, safe, and economical disinfection technologies, particularly advanced disinfection processes, is highlighted as the main direction for future studies in fungal disinfection. This review is valuable for filling the knowledge gap and providing guidance for future research.

Summary: This study examines the impact of terrorism on tourist security through analysis of the 2015 Sousse shootings, finding that tourist security is compromised by factors such as inadequate terrorism risk communication, lax enforcement, and limited integration of counter-terrorism strategies. Recommendations for terrorism risk assessment, management and communication are provided, along with a discussion on tourist security responsibilities. Future research directions in this area are also highlighted.

Summary: This paper examines the interactions between safety and security practices in a nuclear research center, revealing that they contain similar management frameworks and practical means but also various tensions. Drawing on paradox theory, the study highlights how these tensions are rooted in distrust vs trust, transparency vs confidentiality, and movement enablement vs movement restriction. The practical implications of these findings are discussed, advocating for the creation of tension venues to foster innovative measures.
