Summary: This study evaluated the application of AgNPs and AuNPs synthesized using N14T in nanocatalysis, antibacterial activity, and toxicology. The results showed that both AgNPs and AuNPs exhibited catalytic activity in nitroaromatic reduction and dye degradation, with AuNPs displaying better catalytic efficiency. In addition, AgNPs showed strong antibacterial activity, while AuNPs displayed weak antibacterial activity. The toxicology study revealed that both AgNPs and AuNPs were non-toxic to zebrafish.

Summary: The green synthesis of silver nanoparticles using aqueous extract from seeds of Cuscuta japonica was reported in this study. The synthesized Ag NPs showed antioxidant and antibacterial activities against human pathogens. The synthesis procedure was optimized by varying reaction time and temperature, and the presence of components as reducing and capping agents was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy spectrum.

Summary: In this study, silver nanoparticles doped with aqueous extract of dry Gongronema Latifolium (DGL) were successfully synthesized in-situ, showing significant functional susceptibility against bacterial strains, especially surpassing gentamicin for certain strains. The formulated DGL-AgNPs exhibit strong bactericidal properties with facile, benign, eco-friendly, biocompatible, and innocuous synthesis procedures.

Summary: In this study, flavonol-MUTAB-AuNPs were designed by coating four structurally similar flavonols on the surface of AuNPs. The results showed that flavonol-MUTAB-AuNPs exhibited enhanced antioxidant and antibacterial activities compared to flavonols and AuNPs. Additionally, the interaction between flavonol-MUTAB-AuNPs and representative proteins was investigated, revealing stable binding and structural changes in the proteins upon interaction.

Summary: Ag/AgCl and Au BNPs were synthesized using Azadirachta indica leaf extract, and their specific surface plasmon resonance was characterized. The BNPs exhibited core-shell and alloy structures, with a crystalline nature and a particle size in the range of 5.68 nm to 13.25 nm. Among them, only Ag/AgCl-Au BNPs (alloy) showed antibacterial activity. The influence of physicochemical parameters on the degradation of Rh-B and MO dyes in the presence of SBH was investigated, with Ag/AgCl-Au BNPs (alloy) showing the highest degradation efficiency.

Summary: In this study, green silver nanoparticles (green-AgNPs) were synthesized using Jacobaea maritima aqueous leaf extract, which serves as a simple and environmentally-friendly method. The synthesized AgNPs exhibited controlled size and shape, and demonstrated significant antimicrobial and anticancer activities. This green synthesis of AgNPs has potential clinical applications, but further in vivo studies are required to evaluate their safety and efficacy.
