Summary: This study introduces a technology suitable for studying soiling in photovoltaic systems, reducing the number of variables studied and obtaining reliable results. The study reveals a similarity between local geological processes and module soiling, with gypsum responsible for soil and module cementation. Furthermore, it is found that the lower part of the glass produces the greatest energy losses due to non-uniform deposition causing resistance between the cells.

Summary: This study investigated the air oxidation behavior of pack aluminised steels doped with rare earth elements, such as gadolinium, cerium oxide, and lanthanum, enhancing their corrosion resistance and plasticity. The coated 16M, T91, and VM12 steels showed higher corrosion resistance, while steels with over 16 wt% Cr had better performance in the uncoated state. The addition of RE elements affected coating thicknesses and layer structures. XRD and SEM X-ray mapping with EDS were used to analyze the materials before and after exposure.

Summary: This study investigated the intrinsic physicochemical properties and interactions of three different calcium hydroxide-based medications using various analytical methods. The study found differences in the chemical composition of the medications, with only calcium hydroxide and barium sulfate matching in X-rays powder diffraction analysis. Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy analysis showed that the amount of Ba and S elements in PCpw was lower than TCmx and PCmx, while the Ca content in PCpw was higher.

Summary: The study shows that increasing cobalt doping concentration decreases the crystallinity of the material, leading to the emergence of secondary phases. Although the Seebeck coefficient is improved, the electrical conductivity decreases. At higher doping content, the overall power factor is enhanced.

Summary: In this study, six aluminum potassium calcium based-phosphate glasses were synthesized and their structural and chemical properties were investigated. The addition of aluminum was found to have a positive effect on the density, glass transition temperature, and crystallization temperature of the glasses, as well as generating new chemical bonds in the glass structure.

Summary: This study successfully synthesized CuO/rGO nanocomposite as the positive and negative electrode materials for supercapacitors using a low-cost, simple, and eco-friendly method, and the performance was characterized through various experiments. The results showed that the crystallinity index of CuO, rGO, and rGO/CuO varied with temperature and time. Additionally, the concentration had an impact on the crystallinity index of the composite material.

Summary: This study explores the correct processing of Co-Cr alloys to preserve their properties and safely use them in contact with oral cavity tissues. The electrochemical behavior of five commercial Co-Cr dental alloys with different compositions was analyzed, and their characteristics were determined. The study found that alloys with higher tungsten and iron content exhibited a stronger tendency for anodization, and new oxide compounds appeared after heat treatment. In conclusion, processing Co-Cr alloys through melting and casting remains a viable method that can support innovation in the context of digitalization of the manufacturing process.

Summary: In this study, Al-5.6Zn-2.2Mg-1.3Cu composites were prepared by stir casting. It was found that increasing the weight percentage and particle size of SiC particles can improve the wear resistance of the composite material, with composites supplemented with coarse SiC particles outperforming tiny SiC particles in terms of wear resistance.
