Summary: The study aims to identify important health states, events, and patient attributes for a cost-effectiveness analysis of fall prevention interventions, develop a model structure for analyzing the cost-effectiveness, and assess the face validity of the model structure. Two rounds of online surveys were conducted with an expert panel, achieving consensus on 14 health states/events and 26 patient characteristics out of 24 health states/events and 41 patient attributes. The proposed model structure incorporated 12 of the selected health states/events, and the face validity of the model structure was confirmed by the panel.

Summary: The study described the development and utilization of a fidelity measure for the START-Play intervention for children with neuromotor disorders, aiming to determine its implementation and differences compared to usual early intervention services. Results indicated good interrater reliability in 15 out of 17 fidelity variables, with significant differences in rates of key component use and quality ratings between the START-Play and uEI groups.

Summary: This study presents the development of a workplace intervention to strengthen supervisor's support for employees with common mental health problems. The intervention includes an online guideline on how to support employees to stay at work and promotes a preventative approach. The active involvement of workplace stakeholders throughout the process resulted in a well-received intervention. The intervention mapping approach provided a systematic process to identify and prioritize factors of supervisor support.

Summary: Preventive positive parenting interventions can support healthy outcomes for children and potentially mitigate the effects of poverty by influencing parent attitudes and behaviors. Delivering digital parenting interventions that are tailored to the end-user population in pediatric primary care settings can enhance their fit, acceptability, and reach. This study developed and tested a digital, self-directed preventive parenting intervention in pediatric primary care, demonstrating its feasibility, acceptability, and comparable effect size in reducing parental stress to other evidence-based interventions. The results highlight the importance of brief, digital interventions that align with the needs of underserved children and families.

Summary: Despite various methodologies available to guide study reporting and intervention development, inadequate reporting hinders the replication or distillation of information from psychological interventions. This article explains in depth the scientific development process for a mental health intervention, showcasing how intervention development methodologies can enhance reporting standards. By following the Intervention Mapping approach and the Theoretical Domains Framework, conducting a comprehensive literature review, and gathering input from stakeholders, the developed programme aims to improve mental health outcomes through self-exploration and personalized plans.

Summary: Concerns about the limited generalizability and slow pace of traditional randomized trials have led to calls for greater use of real-world evidence. Real-world clinical trials differ from traditional trials in blinding and treatment standardization, which may impact internal validity and bias. When considering blinding and treatment standardization, researchers should evaluate factors such as expectations of clinicians, patients, and assessors, treatment variations based on clinician expertise, and the need for standardization for valid inference and participant safety.

Summary: Bifidobacterium species in the maternal vaginal and fecal microbiota play an important role in newborns' intestinal colonization and long-term health. Their ability to utilize human milk oligosaccharides contributes to their establishment as beneficial microorganisms. Reduced abundance of Bifidobacterium in infants has been associated with increased risks of obesity, diabetes, metabolic disorders, and all-cause mortality. Probiotic strains have been developed to supplement premature babies and provide various health benefits. Bifidobacterium acts as a core component of a healthy infant through adulthood by modulating the immune response and producing short-chain fatty acids that strengthen the gut barrier and regulate the gut microbiome.
