Summary: Cinobufacini was found to inhibit the progression of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma by modulating the YEATS2/TAK1/NF-kappa B pathway. The results demonstrated that cinobufacini can induce cell cycle arrest and inhibit the growth of pancreatic cancer cells, as well as suppress tumor progression in mice.

Summary: Ageing is a complex process influenced by genetic, epigenetic, and environmental factors, associated with decline in physiological functions, chronic diseases, and cancer development. NF-κB acts as a crucial mediator of chronic inflammation, implicated in driving the ageing process. Activation or inhibition of NF-κB can impact the main features of aged organisms.

Summary: Adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma (ATLL) is a rare but highly malignant tumor caused by human T-cell leukemia virus type 1. A nano-delivery system was developed to inhibit NF-kappa B signaling pathways in tumors by delivering siRNA, resulting in significant tumor growth inhibition and enhanced sensitivity to chemotherapy in late-stage ATLL tumors.

Summary: The overexpression of TMED2 in LUAD is negatively correlated with malignant survival and apoptosis. Knockdown of TMED2 inhibits LUAD development and increases the levels of inflammatory factors. In addition, TMED2 is associated with TME-associated immune cells, their target markers, and some mechanisms and pathways.

Summary: Somatic mutations of the chromatin remodeling gene ARID2 are found in around 7% of human lung adenocarcinomas, and its decreased expression is associated with lung cancer malignant progression. Knockout of ARID2 significantly promotes lung cancer progression, while knockdown of Hspa1a specifically inhibits malignant progression of ARID2-deficient lung cancers. Treatment with an HSPA1A inhibitor could significantly inhibit the malignant progression of lung cancer with ARID2 deficiency.

Summary: Bone metastasis is a major complication in lung adenocarcinoma (ADC) patients, and identifying biomarkers for this disease is crucial. This study found that SPON2 plays a key role in promoting bone metastasis by activating the NF-kappa B pathway in ADC. These findings suggest that SPON2 could be a potential therapeutic target for future drug development.

Summary: Inhibiting NF-κ B activation with SR12343 shows promising results in reducing cellular senescence markers, improving muscle fiber size, and extending healthy lifespan. The therapeutic effects of SR12343 were observed in different mouse models, suggesting it as a potential treatment for reducing cellular senescence and aging-related diseases.

Summary: This study found that FUT3 is significantly upregulated in LUAD tissues, and high expression of FUT3 may predict poor prognosis in LUAD patients. Knockdown of FUT3 can significantly inhibit tumor proliferation, migration, and glucose metabolism alterations in LUAD cells. Furthermore, FUT3 upregulation is positively correlated with the NF-kappa B signaling pathway, and downregulation of FUT3 leads to inhibition of oncogenesis and glucose metabolism through inactivation of the NF-kappa B pathway.

Summary: NF-κB is a critical transcription factor that is abnormally activated in several cancers, particularly in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). Despite the use of various treatment modalities for GBM, the survival rate of patients remains low, highlighting the need for new therapeutic approaches.

Summary: "Umo Ishi" is a novel written by Kenzaburo Oe, in which the author reflects on and pursues peace and justice through a review of history and reality. Set against the backdrop of the Chinese resistance during World War II, the novel portrays the devastation of war on ordinary people and the distortion of human nature through the lives and inner monologues of different characters. By depicting the brutality of war and the complexity of human nature, the novel explores the meaning and impact of war on humanity, and calls for the pursuit of peace.

Summary: This study identified OXCT1 as a key gene leading to GEM resistance in PDAC through the NF-kappa B signaling pathway, with high OXCT1 expression associated with shorter relapse-free survival under GEM treatment. OXCT1 overexpression in PDAC cell lines inhibited apoptosis after GEM treatment, and blocking the NF-kappa B signaling pathway reduced GEM resistance. These findings suggest that OXCT1 could be a potential therapeutic target for patients with PDAC.
