Summary: This study aimed to assess the appropriateness of medical management following suspected rabies exposure (SRE) in international travellers. The results showed that awareness for appropriate first aid and timely seeking of professional treatment is insufficient in German travellers. Travel practitioners need to educate travellers about rabies risk, prevention measures, and the correct behavior after SRE including adequate wound treatment and seeking immediate medical help for prophylaxis.

Summary: International travel plays a significant role in the acquisition, carriage, and spread of antimicrobial resistant (AMR) bacteria. Studies have identified travel destination, antimicrobial usage, and travelers' diarrhea as major risk factors for acquiring AMR bacteria during travel. Efforts to reduce the burden of AMR organisms globally should focus on international travelers and routine genomic surveillance.

Summary: Although the relationship between human mobility and global dissemination of antimicrobial resistance has been established, there are still important aspects of this spread that have not been well described. It is important not to overly focus on migrants as they play a minor role in AMR spread, while international travelers are more likely to perpetuate the spread due to their greater volume and speed of travel.

Summary: This study compared the demographics and travel-related circumstances of US travelers seeking pretravel consultation at US Global TravEpiNet (GTEN) sites before and after the initiation of COVID-19 travel warnings. The results showed that during the COVID-19 period, there was a higher proportion of travelers visiting friends and relatives, traveling for extended periods, traveling to Africa, and young children. Fewer vaccine-eligible travelers received travel-related vaccines during this period. Therefore, counseling and vaccination focused on high-risk international travelers should be prioritized during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Summary: In a diverse tourism market, marketers must use various strategies to attract customers and outperform competitors. This study focuses on travelers' price sensitivity and investigates its impact on information search behavior. The research findings show that there is heterogeneity in price sensitivity and that this variable influences how travelers utilize information. Therefore, marketers should tailor their communication strategies to meet the needs of travelers with different price sensitivities.
