Summary: This study evaluated the effect of laparoscopic cystectomy on ovarian reserve in patients with ovarian cysts. The results showed that the surgery reduced serum AMH levels and the number of cauterizations used, cyst type, and bilaterality had a significant impact on postoperative AMH levels.

Summary: This study evaluated the effects of vitamin D supplementation on ovarian reserve markers and found that it significantly increased AMH level, AFC, 25(OH)D and calcium levels, while decreasing FSH level and alkaline phosphatase level.

Summary: This study analyzed data from 632 women aged 30-44 without infertility history who were attempting to conceive for less than 3 months, and found that increasing AMH levels were associated with longer menstrual cycle lengths.

Summary: This study investigated the association between ambient PM2.5, O3 pollution, and ovarian reserve in reproductive-aged Chinese women. The results showed that increased exposure to PM2.5 and O3 was associated with decreased AMH levels, indicating reduced ovarian reserve. Notably, the effects of O3 exposure on ovarian reserve were different from those of PM2.5 exposure.

Summary: This study found that DNG is more effective than GnRHa in preserving ovarian reserve after cystectomy for ovarian endometrioma. This is achieved through reducing the inflammatory response during the perioperative period and other endometriosis-related inflammatory reactions.

Summary: This study evaluated the ovarian reserve in women with CD using AMH levels and identified age, CD activity, and thalidomide use as risk factors associated with decreased ovarian reserve. CD women have lower ovarian reserve compared to healthy women.

Summary: The study found that prenatal exposure to farm environments is associated with lower ovarian reserve biomarker concentrations in adulthood, while childhood farm exposure has weaker associations. These findings suggest that prenatal farm exposure may result in reduced ovarian reserve in adulthood.

Summary: There is no solid relationship between patients' characteristics, such as anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) and BMI, and ovarian response in couples with unexplained subfertility undergoing IUI with ovarian hyperstimulation (IUI-OH). Although AMH has been proven to be a useful predictor in IVF treatment, its predictive abilities in a milder stimulation protocol, such as IUI, have not been investigated. This study provides high-quality outcomes advancing the subfertility research field.

Summary: This study investigated the association between ambient ozone and ovarian reserve in a retrospective cohort of 6008 women attending a fertility center in Hubei, China. The findings suggest that exposure to ozone is associated with decreased anti-mullerian hormone (AMH) levels, indicating a potential adverse impact on ovarian reserve. The study also identified age, body mass index, and temperature as effect modifiers in the ozone-associated decrease in AMH levels.

Summary: Anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) is an indirect indicator of ovarian reserve and fertility. It is used to test the number of remaining follicles. A decline in AMH suggests a decrease in follicles, while polycystic ovary syndrome patients often have elevated AMH levels. AMH varies with folliculogenesis and changes in the follicle cohort, which play a crucial role in ovarian activity throughout a woman's lifetime.

Summary: Chemical exposure among pregnant women may impact the size of ovarian reserve. Serum AMH levels, as a surrogate marker of ovarian reserve, correlates with follicular density, while certain chemicals are associated with decreased non-growing follicle densities.

Summary: The study found that inhibin B levels rapidly decrease with age in healthy reproductive age women. Inhibin B is positively correlated with AMH, AFC, and other ovarian reserve markers, and has a slightly higher predictive value for AFC compared to FSH.
