Summary: Utilizing 8-quinolinolato rhodium catalysts and CsF, the coupling of alkylacetylenes with secondary amines in both 2:1 and 1:1 ratios was achieved. The solvent choice can switch the selectivity between 2:1 and 1:1 ratios, leading to different products under different reaction conditions.Additionally, anti-Markovnikov hydroamination reactions in toluene resulted in 1:1 coupling products under relatively mild conditions.

Summary: The paper reports densities, speeds of sound, and molar heat capacities of binary and ternary mixtures at different temperatures and atmospheric pressure. Excess molar volumes, isentropic compressibilities, and heat capacities have been determined and correlated using Redlich-Kister equation. Interactions in mixtures have been characterized using IR spectral studies and quantum concepts.

Summary: An Ag(I)-catalyzed annulation reaction between 1-aminobutadiynes and anilines was reported, leading to the construction of 2-aminoquinoline scaffold. By tuning the steric and electronic properties of anilines, 2-amidopyrroles were avoided in favor of the desired product. Additionally, reactions of polyaromatic amines also proceeded smoothly to produce nitrogen-containing polyaromatics.

Summary: We developed a domino reaction for the synthesis of 2-amido-5-fluoropyrroles from CF3-substituted N-allenamides. By employing silver catalysis with a primary amine, the in situ generated gem-difluorinated ene-ynamides derived from CF3-substituted N-allenamides undergo simultaneous hydroamination and 5-endo-trig addition/beta-fluoride elimination sequence, leading to the construction of 2-amido-5-fluoropyrroles. This method shows excellent functional group compatibility and can be used for the synthesis of functionalized benzo-oxazoles by using 2-aminophenols.

Summary: This study screened an in-house library of compounds for agonistic activity towards TAAR1, resulting in the discovery of a potent TAAR1 agonist. Further in vivo tests demonstrated its efficacy in schizophrenia-related experiments. More preclinical studies are needed to evaluate its potential as a pharmacotherapy option for schizophrenia and other psychiatric disorders.

Summary: We investigate the crystal structure, magnetization, and specific heat measurements of single crystals of the hexagonal polar magnet Co2-xZnxMo3O8. It is found that Zn doping can preserve the robust antiferromagnetic behavior in Co2Mo3O8 up to x = 0.55. The observed effects in the lattice parameter, Curie-Weiss temperature, and magnetic entropy can be attributed to the site-selective Zn substitution, which is dependent on the coordination of the Co2+ ions.

Summary: The report describes a synthetic strategy for molecules with linear tricyclic 5/5/5 and 6/5/5 skeletons using a [5 + 2 + 1]/ene approach. The strategy involves a Rh-catalyzed [5 + 2 + 1] reaction followed by an InCl3-catalyzed ene reaction to transform the intermediates into the final target molecules, offering an efficient and feasible synthetic route.

Summary: In this study, the expression patterns of the LmCYP6MU1 gene in tissues and developmental stages of Locusta migratoria were investigated, and its olfactory function in the recognition of main host plant volatiles was determined. The results showed that LmCYP6MU1 is highly expressed in the antennae of locusts and plays an important role in the recognition of trans-2-hexen-1-al and nonanal. It was also found that LmCncC regulates the expression of LmCYP6MU1 and is involved in the volatiles-mediated induction of LmCYP6MU1. These findings provide valuable insights into the regulation mechanisms of LmCncC and the olfactory plasticity in locusts.

Summary: A new straightforward approach to synthesizing 1-aryl-2-aminopropanes has been developed using a simple and accessible substrate. This approach involves cascade reactions with arenes and sulfonamide nucleophiles catalyzed by Cu(OTf)(2), resulting in regioselective formation of 1-aryl-2-aminopropanes. The reaction is expected to proceed through a Friedel-Crafts-type allylation of the arene followed by hydroamination.

Summary: In this study, a low-metal iron-supported catalyst (Fe20/NC-Mg) was reported for the efficient synthesis of quinoxaline compounds, using water as a solvent and without additional bases. The synergistic effect of FeNx site and Mg (OH)2 nanorods in the catalyst played a key role in achieving high yields (82-91%) in 16 examples. The gram-level synthesis and reusability of the catalysts after four cycles demonstrated its industrial application potential.
