Summary: The prevalence of anxiety, depression, and suicidal behavior among Brazilian undergraduates was found to be high, with studies indicating that investigations with probabilistic samples, studies conducted within public institutions, and studies with samples of exclusively medical students showed higher frequencies of these mental health issues. These results highlight the need for standardized methodology in studies and comprehensive mental health care for Brazilian undergraduates.
