Summary: This paper proposes a new approach to study the outcomes of the research evaluation of departmental structures and to predict the results of the next research evaluation exercise. Two models are introduced based on the dynamics of the departmental h-index, with a focus on the influence of the age structure of the department faculty. The models are tested on data from UK departments in different scientific fields, showing successful application of this approach.

Summary: As VR and AR technologies have become cheaper and more accessible, researchers have shown increased interest in finding practical applications in various fields such as entertainment, healthcare, and rehabilitation. This study provides an overview of the scientific literature on VR, AR, and physical activity (PA). A bibliometric analysis of studies published between 1994 and 2022 was conducted and revealed an exponential increase in scientific production. The results identify the United States as the leading country in co-authorship networks, with Kerstin Witte as the most prolific author and Richard Kulpa as the most prominent. The research shows great thematic diversity, with a focus on concepts such as rehabilitation, cognition, training, and obesity.

Summary: This study conducted a comprehensive scientometric analysis to evaluate key themes and trends in the research on physical activity, mental health, and wellbeing. The findings highlight the central role of physical activity in public health and identify major research trends, including cardiovascular diseases, cognitive decline/dementia, mental illness, athletes' performance, related health issues, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The research also indicates the central position of the USA research network and the relatively isolated Chinese research network.

Summary: This paper presents a scientometric analysis of funded scientometric and bibliometric research from 2011 to 2021. Using Web of Science, 2810 domain-relevant papers (DRP) and 1040 methodologically relevant papers (MRP) were analyzed. The study examined various standard scientometric parameters, including the relative growth rate (RGR), the doubling time (DT), the activity index (AI), the average citations per paper (ACCP), and the h-index. The analysis provides comprehensive insights into productive funding agencies, international collaboration patterns, top journals, productive institutions, field trends, and emerging themes.

Summary: The study addresses the lack of understanding in temporal trends of altmetrics and provides insights into the behavior of altmetrics over time. Twitter attention starts and ends quickly, while Mendeley readers accumulate and continue to grow. News and blog attention starts quickly and persists over a longer timeframe. Citations in policy documents start slowly and grow over a decade after publication.
