Summary: NHST's internal logic can be analyzed using propositional calculus, with the testable H-0 determined by analyzing the range of P-values; The correspondence between H-0 and H-A must be exhaustive to avoid false dichotomies; The conclusions derived from NHST only justify that the results are not due to chance alone, rather than proving the research hypothesis is true.

Summary: The study compares costs between CTCA with selective FFRCT and standard care pathways in the FORECAST trial, and finds no significant difference in US healthcare costs. However, certain factors such as coronary risk factors and planned invasive angiography increase costs.

Summary: The orbit errors, clock errors, and signal-in-space ranging errors (SISREs) of BDS-3 were analyzed using accurate data from January 1, 2019, to June 2, 2021. The study found that the average availability of the SIS for all BDS-3 satellites is 98.41%, with MEO and IGSO satellites having availability rates of 98.74% and 96.86%, respectively. The study also examined the impact of eclipses and maneuvers on orbit accuracy and the correlation between clock errors of different satellites. Overall, the study provides important insights into the performance and integrity of BDS-3.

Summary: The study evaluated the impact of the voluntary safety standard for liquid laundry packets on child exposure rates reported to Poison Control Centers in the US. Results showed a significant reduction in both the total reported exposures rate and the medically treated exposures rate, indicating the effectiveness of the voluntary standard in reducing injury rates involving liquid laundry packets.

Summary: The long history of slavery in the USA and Brazil still influences the violence observed in both countries today. The militarization of public management is a result of the foreign policy of the USA and the military dictatorship in Brazil. In the 1970s, women's resistance and struggle against violence, authoritarianism, and lack of citizenship became significant, particularly in Latin America. These social movements transformed collective identity policies into responses and shifted the focus away from ideology as the driving force for mobilizations. The development of collective female identity allowed for the recognition of oppression, leading to personal and social transformation.

Summary: The concept of statistical significance is often misunderstood due to inadequate explanation of theoretical concepts and parameters behind significance tests. For example, the p-value indicates the probability of observing the effect or a more extreme effect if it does not actually exist. Using the example of a coin toss helps to better understand the interpretation of scientific results in null hypothesis significance testing.
