Summary: The study synthesized silatranes with pyrene substituents, characterized their hydrolytic stability, and evaluated their potential as efficient drugs against parasitic infections. The results suggest that these silatranes may serve as effective treatments for diseases caused by protozoans such as Giardia lamblia and Entamoeba histolytica.

Summary: The study focuses on the photophysical properties of newly synthesized Propargyl-functionalized anthracene based Schiff bases (PASB), demonstrating their excellent UV-Vis probe capabilities for selective detection of Fe3+ ion and coordination behavior with Fe3+ ion. Various analytical techniques were utilized to characterize the compounds and explain their solvatochromic behavior, shedding light on the factors determining the propargyl appended Schiff base's structure, solvatochromism, and metal ion sensitivity.

Summary: In this study, five isatin hydrazone schiffbase linked acetylinic scaffolds were synthesized and characterized for their antibacterial and antioxidant activities. The compounds showed potent antibacterial activity against H.influenza and S. Pyogens, as well as superior antioxidant activity. This research suggests that the isatin hydrazone functionalized acetylenic derivatives could be promising biomaterials for antibacterial, antifungal, and antioxidant applications.
