Summary: The aim of this study was to validate the newly developed Advanced Practice Nurse Task Questionnaire. A cross-sectional quantitative study was conducted, and the questionnaire development followed a seven-step process. The construct and structural validity, as well as internal consistency, were tested using factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha coefficient, and a Kruskal-Wallis test. The results showed that the questionnaire had good validity and reliability. It was able to discriminate between different advanced practice nurse roles and their competencies. The Advanced Practice Nurse Task Questionnaire is an important tool for assessing tasks in clinical practice and research. Rating: 8 out of 10.
