Summary: This study synthesized SPEN@CCTO/PEN nanocomposites by modifying hydroxylated CCTO with SPEN and integrating it into the PEN matrix. The nanomaterials effectively prevented agglomeration of CCTO and improved interfacial adhesion, resulting in superior dielectric characteristics and energy storage density. Furthermore, the excellent mechanical properties make SPEN@CCTO/PEN a promising flexible dielectric material for future applications.

Summary: This study focused on the challenge of low dielectric materials in the communication industry. By designing and synthesizing fluorinated poly(arylene ether nitrile) containing carboxyl groups (PEN), and using MOF-3 as a nanoporous filler and crosslinker, cross-linked networks were constructed through simple heat treatment, significantly improving the overall performance of the composite films. The PEN-M-3 composite films exhibited a low dielectric constant of 2.33 at 1 MHz and a low water absorption of 0.126%. In addition, the composite films showed excellent thermal stability (T5% > 490 degrees C) and outstanding mechanical properties (tensile strength > 82 MPa). This research provides a new approach for the design and preparation of low dielectric materials.

Summary: Aromatic polysulfides and polysulfones are important sulfur-containing polymers with diverse applications. In this study, novel poly(arylene sulfide)s were synthesized in high yields through a metal-free, highly regioselective, one-pot reaction. The resulting polymers were soluble in common solvents. Controlled incorporation of functional groups was achieved by post-modification reactions. The oxidation of the poly(arylene sulfide)s produced poly(arylene sulfoxide)s and poly(arylene sulfones) with high selectivity, and heating resulted in the formation of nanofoams with homogeneous pore distribution.

Summary: In this study, a series of poly(arylene ether sulfone) (PAE) copolymers with pendant alkenes were synthesized using benzenesulfonamides as comonomers, and the thermal properties of the resulting polymers were found to be dependent on the choice of sulfonamide regioisomer. Ortho/meta and meta/meta benzenesulfonamides were insensitive to thiol-ene modification, while other substitution patterns showed significant variations in properties based on the functional group installed.

Summary: In this study, adamantane groups were introduced into the anion exchange membranes for fuel cells, resulting in a comb-shaped structure. By adjusting the ratio of hydrophobic to hydrophilic segments, the membranes exhibited improved mechanical properties and ionic conductivity. The resulting membranes showed well-defined microphase separation between the hydrophilic and hydrophobic segments, leading to high ionic conductivity and excellent mechanical properties. Therefore, these membranes have great potential for application in fuel cells.
