Summary: In this study, mass spectrometry was used to analyze the proteome of Arabidopsis suspension-cultured cell clathrin-coated vesicles (CCVs). Summary: The cytokinin response regulator gene family plays a crucial role in regulating plant development and environmental responses. This study focused on the role of CK signaling in the growth and development of Jatropha curcas. Through bioinformatics and expression analysis, the CK response regulator genes in J. curcas were characterized, revealing their involvement in plant hormone, light, and abiotic stress responses. Evolutionary analysis and genomic comparison provided insights into the expansion mechanism of this gene family. RNA sequencing and quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction were used to study the expression patterns of these genes in different tissues and their response to hormones and stress. Functional validation in Arabidopsis thaliana confirmed the importance of CK response regulator genes in growth and development processes.

Summary: This study identified 59,948 expressed genes from major vegetative tissues of Eucalyptus through transcriptome sequencing. The key gene families involved in GA biosynthesis, degradation, and signaling were investigated and compared with other plants. Analysis of gene expression patterns showed diverse responses to abiotic stresses. Overexpression of EguGA20ox1 and EguGA20ox2 in Arabidopsis promoted vegetative growth but increased sensitivity to stress, while EguGA2ox1 overexpression enhanced stress resistance. Overexpression of EguGA20ox in Eucalyptus roots accelerated hairy root growth and improved xylem differentiation. This study provides comprehensive insights into GA metabolism and signaling genes in Eucalyptus and identifies their role in growth, stress tolerance, and xylem development, benefiting molecular breeding efforts.

Summary: Using fluorescence recovery after photobleaching, we observed the occurrence and localization of rapid vesicular activities in the tip region of growing pollen tube. We demonstrated that both vesicle polar exocytic fusion and endocytosis take place at the apex of the pollen tube. Furthermore, we found that the dynamic activities of tip-focused exocytosis and endocytosis are closely correlated with the spatial organization of actin fringe.
