Summary: Compactons are localized bell-shaped waves that propagate in the same direction as waves of the linear KdV equation. Their amplitude and width are inversely proportional to their speed. Through numerical and analytical methods, the energetic stability and dynamics of compactons have been studied, including their interactions with other waves.

Summary: The proposal suggests simulating dynamical phases of a BCS superconductor using cold atoms trapped in an optical cavity, with effective Cooper pairs encoded via internal states of the atoms and attractive interactions realized through the exchange of virtual photons. By controlling the interaction strength and dispersion relation of the effective Cooper pairs, exploration of the full dynamical phase diagram of the BCS model is enabled. This proposal opens the door for studying the nonequilibrium features of quantum magnetism and superconductivity through atom-light interactions in cold atomic gases.

Summary: In this paper, we study a transient dynamical topological phase transition in a Cooper-pair box array, revealing a system in which the topological property is only apparent in the dynamics. By exploring wave propagation induced by quench dynamics, we observe a rich topological phase diagram.

Summary: This study investigates the equilibrium points, local and global dynamics, rate of convergence, instability, and boundedness of positive solutions of some rational systems of difference equations. In addition, it explores the local dynamics around equilibrium points of the discrete-time Levin's model as an application in mathematical biology. The obtained results are then numerically verified.

Summary: This study investigates the influence of matter field and gauge field on the metric functions of the AdS(3) spacetime in the Maxwell-Higgs model. The appearance of black hole solutions is noticed with the presence of a matter field with a solitonic profile that can adjust the field variable. The compactification of the matter field affects the metric functions while not changing the structure of the magnetic black hole vortex horizon.

Summary: The paper investigates systems of three autonomous first-order differential equations under the condition that x(t)+y(t)+z(t) is constant for all t. It presents Hamilton-Poisson formulations, integrable deformations, and analyzes the case of Kolmogorov systems. The three-dimensional Lotka-Volterra system with constant population is studied from standard and nonstandard Poisson geometry perspectives.

Summary: In this article, we use tensor algebra to provide a system-theoretic treatment of certain continuous-time homogeneous polynomial dynamical systems (HPDS). By representing the system of homogeneous polynomial differential equations with an orthogonally decomposable (odeco) tensor, we can construct its explicit solution using tensor Z-eigenvalues and Z-eigenvectors. We discuss the stability properties of an odeco HPDS by utilizing the form of the explicit solution and establish results for determining if a general HPDS can be transformed or approximated by an odeco HPDS.

Summary: In this study, molecular dynamics simulations were performed to investigate the mechanical and dynamical stabilities of gamma-(U,Zr) alloys under high temperatures. The results showed that gamma-U, beta-Zr, and gamma-(U,Zr) were all mechanically and dynamically stable at 1200 K. The alloying treatment with Zr effectively improved the mechanical strength and melting points of gamma-U, making it more suitable for nuclear reactors.

Summary: This study investigates electron entanglement through current-current correlations in two Cooper pair splitter devices, one with one quantum dot (1QD) and another with two quantum dots (2QD), under various Coulomb interactions and weak coupling with metallic electrodes. The analysis reveals bunching and antibunching effects of split particles, highlighting positive inter-level components and negative intra-level components between electron and hole currents flowing to different electrodes, as well as the presence of low-frequency polarization fluctuations in current cross-correlations.

Summary: This paper presents a new one-dimensional chaotic map K(x) = mu x(1 -x) and analyzes its dynamical properties and comparison with the traditional logistic map. The results show that this map has a larger range of stability and chaos, which may achieve better results in the fields where the logistic map has been used before.

Summary: This paper develops a mathematical model for Type 1 diabetes and uses sensitivity analysis methods to identify influential parameters in the model. The results show that insulin clearance and absorption rates have a significant impact on the model's response variables at different time points. This study highlights the importance of statistical and mathematical analytic approaches in understanding the pathological processes of diabetes.

Summary: In this paper, we study the solution of the nonlinear Schrodinger equation with delta(s)' coupling of non-zero intensity beta on the star graph Gamma. In the first part, we prove the existence of the ground state solution as a minimizer of the action functional S-omega on the Nehari manifold under certain restrictions on beta. The family of critical points contains the ground state solution as well as other solutions. The second part focuses on the orbital instability of the critical points, proving spectral instability and C-2 class property of the data-solution mapping, and demonstrating strong instability for certain critical points when p>5.
