We show the results of a coupled-channel quark model calculation of the bottomonium spectrum with self-energy corrections due to the coupling to the meson-meson continuum. We also provide results for the open-bottom strong decay amplitudes of higher bottomonia in a P-3(0) model.

Summary: In the past decade, there has been a significant shift in understanding the internal structure of hadrons, with new theoretical techniques and experimental findings suggesting that soft quark+quark (diquark) correlations play a crucial role in hadron physics. These correlations are believed to be a necessary consequence of dynamical chiral symmetry breaking and may be critical for the formation of exotic tetra- and penta-quark hadrons.

Summary: The study discusses two complementary strategies to search for light dark matter using positron beam at Jefferson Laboratory. These strategies, utilizing the high intensity and energy of the CEBAF beam and a novel LDM production mechanism, aim to explore new regions in the LDM parameter space, thoroughly probing the LDM hypothesis and hidden sector scenarios.

Summary: Positron beams, both polarized and unpolarized, are essential for experimental programs at the next generation of lepton accelerators, such as JLab's hadronic physics program. They provide precise understanding of electromagnetic structure of nucleons and nuclei, allow for model-independent determination of electromagnetic form factors, and enable accurate separation of contributions to lepto-production cross sections. Additionally, positron beams offer alternative tests of the Standard Model of particle physics.

Heavy Hadronic Molecules Coupled with Multiquark States

Yasuhiro Yamaguchi, Hugo Garcia-Tecocoatzi, Alessandro Giachino, Atsushi Hosaka, Elena Santopinto, Sachiko Takeuchi, Makoto Takizawa

Summary: We investigated the coupling between the hidden-charm pentaquarks as a Lambda(c)(D)-Sigma c(D) over bar hadronic molecule and a compact five-quark state. The short-range interaction generated by the coupling to the compact state plays a dominant role in determining the energy-level structures, while the long-range one pion exchange potential (OPEP) affects the decay width.

Summary: The NUMEN project proposes an innovative technique to access nuclear matrix elements through heavy-ion induced Double Charge Exchange reactions, aiming to study the lifetime of double beta decay. Despite being triggered by different types of interactions, similarities in many-body wave functions and transition operators exist between neutrinoless double beta decay and DCE reactions. The upgrade of INFN-LNS facilities, connected to the POTLNSa project, is essential for enabling measurements of DCE cross-section under extremely high beam intensities as required by the NUMEN project.

Summary: This report describes the physics case, detector requirements, and evolving detector concepts for the Electron-Ion Collider (EIC) experimental program. The EIC will be a new facility in the United States with the capability to collide high-energy electron beams with high-energy proton and ion beams, providing access to regions dominated by gluons. The use of polarized beams in the EIC will allow for unprecedented access to the spatial and spin structure of particles. The report aims to advance the physics program and develop detector concepts that meet the requirements for the EIC.

Masses and decay widths of Ξc/b and Ξ′c/b baryons

R. Bijker, H. Garcia-Tecocoatzi, A. Giachino, E. Ortiz-Pacheco, E. Santopinto

Summary: This article presents a complete classification of the negative parity Xi'(c/b) and Xi(c/b) P-wave states and calculates their strong partial decay widths and electromagnetic decay widths. Possible assignments for new and previously reported Xi(c) states are suggested based on the equal-spacing mass rule and the analysis of strong partial decay widths. Recently, the LHCb Collaboration observed two new Xi(b) states that are consistent with the predictions made in this study.

Triply-heavy tetraquarks in an extended relativized quark model

Qi-Fang Lu, Dian-Yong Chen, Yu-Bing Dong, Elena Santopinto

Summary: In this study, an extended relativized quark model was used to investigate triply-heavy tetraquarks, which were found to be unstable and easily decay into heavy quarkonium plus heavy-light mesons. The mass spectra showed similar patterns, maintaining light flavor SU(3) symmetry and heavy quark symmetry well. These findings suggest that triply-heavy tetraquarks are potential candidates for future experimental investigations.
