In this article, we extend our previous work to study the Sigma-type heavy baryons Sigma(c) and Sigma(b) in nuclear matter using QCD sum rules and obtain three coupled QCD sum rules for the masses M-Sigma Q*, vector self-energies Sigma(v), and pole residues lambda(Sigma Q)* in nuclear matter. Then we take into account the effects of the unequal pole residues from different spinor structures, normalize the masses from QCD sum rules in vacuum to the experimental data, and obtain the mass shifts delta M-Sigma c = - 123 MeV and delta M-Sigma b = - 375 MeV in the nuclear matter.
