Porous copper powder (PCP) was prepared successfully by vacuum dealloying using Commercial brass powder. PCP shows a three-dimensional continuous porous structure with pore size of 2 +/- 1 mu m. Vacuum dealloying was demonstrated one effectively preparation method for PCP, and vacuum dealloying can be used to prepare other porous metal powder based on sublimation and kirkendall effect.
