Summary: Hybrid architectures integrating Fe7S8@NC@MoS2 with a three-dimensional heterostructure are designed in this study. The adjustable voids of the material can buffer the volume change during intercalation of metal ions. Additionally, the presence of MoS2 enhances electronic conductivity and metal ion transfer, resulting in improved battery performance.

Summary: A facile and scalable approach was developed to prepare 3D porous and Li-rich Sn-Li alloy scaffolds for homogeneous Li plating/stripping under high current density. The Li-rich Sn-Li alloy scaffolds not only guide uniform Li deposition without dendrites formation, but also replenish active Li to improve cycling stability.

Summary: This study investigates the effect of element diffusion on the formation of Li-rich giant stars and proposes a mechanism for the enrichment of lithium abundance. The simulations show that element diffusion can increase the lithium abundance and explain the existence of Li-rich and super Li-rich giant stars. The population synthesis method confirms the consistency between the estimated number of Li-rich giants and observations.

The Li22Sn5 nanoparticles on the surface of the electrode showed excellent lithiophilicity, reducing the Li nucleation barrier. Multiphysics phase simulation guided Li preferentially to deposit back onto the sites of previous Li stripping, achieving a controllable plating/stripping behavior of Li on the Li-Sn composite anode.
