Summary: This paper studies a dual-market low-carbon supply chain operation in urban and rural markets, involving one manufacturer and two retailers. The research finds that government intervention can increase technology innovation efforts and decrease advertising efforts, and joint store promotion under government intervention can further improve the profits of the manufacturer and retailers. Furthermore, the manufacturer's technological innovation strategy relies more on the price and promotion preferences of urban consumers. The research results provide valuable suggestions for improving the economic and environmental performance of the low-carbon supply chain in the dual market.

Summary: The study examines the impacts of various factors in a closed-loop supply chain system with a dual-channel, introducing a new demand function format and considering the effects of different collection settings. Consumers' willingness to choose remanufactured products is found to have a more significant influence on prices and profits than their sensitivity to the carbon footprint.

Summary: This study constructs a Stackelberg game model dominated by the manufacturer to analyze the joint strategies of low-carbon emission reduction and blockchain investment in different dual-channel models of the supply chain. The research findings reveal that the optimal emission reduction and blockchain investment vary among different dual-channel models, with manufacturers achieving the highest emission reduction in the direct online sales dual-channel model and the highest profit in the traditional retailer dual-channel model. Additionally, there are specific blockchain investment thresholds in different dual-channel modes, and increasing the threshold value improves the emission reduction.

Summary: With the increasing climate disasters, consumers have a growing interest in low-carbon products. This paper analyzes incentive strategies for low-carbon supply chains considering the updating of low-carbon preferences. It describes information updating in low-carbon supply chains and analyzes the response decisions of the supply chain under the given incentive strategies. An optimal model of carbon reduction is designed for the government based on these decisions, and the best incentive strategies are optimized using a heuristic algorithm. The results show that cooperation among profit-driven supply chain members improves both their profits and carbon reduction efficiency.

Summary: With increasing global concerns about environmental degradation, firms are pursuing carbon emission reduction targets, and the shift in consumer preferences towards low-carbon products can benefit both supply chain enterprises. Collaboration through carbon emission reduction cost-sharing can increase retailer's order quantity and profit, providing an incentive for cooperation between the two parties.

Summary: This paper examines a fresh food supply chain involving a supplier responsible for the cold chain and a retailer tasked with reprocessing the fresh food. The study analyzes the optimal market prices based on carbon emission reduction levels (CERLs) and investigates the responses of the supplier and retailer to their CERLs. The research identifies 25 equilibrium CERLs and finds that, in most cases, the supplier and retailer either take no action or make significant efforts to reduce carbon emissions.

Summary: The study found that when manufacturers cooperate with retailers, increasing the investment in emission reduction leads to higher carbon emission reduction, market demand, manufacturer's profit, and retail price, while the retailer's profit decreases. However, forming a centralized supply chain between manufacturers and retailers can improve the overall profit of the supply chain. Therefore, optimizing the supply chain by forming a centralized supply chain with manufacturers and retailers can achieve the dual objectives of protecting the environment and increasing profits.

Summary: Low-carbon production is crucial for addressing environmental problems, while consumer consciousness about carbon and cooperation between partners play important roles. This study investigated decision-making scenarios and compared decentralized, centralized, and cost-sharing contracts in a two-echelon supply chain. The results showed that environmental performance improvement is positively correlated with cooperation and consumers' low-carbon awareness. Additionally, cost-sharing contracts improved the overall supply chain performance compared to decentralized cases. Numerical experiments were conducted to validate the modeling results. Therefore, this study provides theoretical support for sustainable operations in supply chains considering low-carbon awareness.

Summary: Since August 2018, African swine fever (ASF) has caused over one million pig deaths in China and led to a surge in pork prices. To address this issue, the Chinese government has implemented two farm subsidies: the compulsory culling subsidy (CCS) and the large-scale breeding subsidy (LBS). Through a game-theoretic model, the study explores the optimal design of these subsidy programs and their impacts on different stakeholders.

Summary: This study examines whether the threshold parameter in the Omega ratio represents risk aversion by analyzing the asymptotic expansions for risk premia. The results suggest that the threshold in the Omega ratio represents risk aversion when the variance of the additional risk decreases with the background risk and when the density of the background risk is log-concave. Comparisons with expected utility criteria indicate that the conditions for the Omega threshold to represent risk aversion are comparable to those for exponential utility functions.

Summary: In this study, we investigate a supply chain system consisting of a retailer and a supplier. We examine the threshold problem in contract design and take into account the risk preference of the retailer and the fairness concern of the supplier. The experiment shows that the behavior of the retailer affects the threshold of the optimal contract design, while the behavior of the supplier only affects the optimal wholesale price. These findings suggest that the behavior of retailers and suppliers play a crucial role in the mechanism design of supply chains.
