In this paper, we consider a coupled Mackey-Glass electronic circuits model with two delays, which has been proposed by Sano et al. (Phys. Rev. E 75: 016207, 2007). At first, we investigate the stability and occurrence of Hopf bifurcation by analyzing the distribution of the roots of associated characteristic equation. Then an explicit algorithm for determining the direction of the Hopf bifurcation and the stability of the bifurcating periodic solutions is derived, by using the normal form theory and center manifold argument. Finally, some numerical simulations are carried out for supporting the analytic results.
