Summary: This study investigates the use of diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) as a quantitative method to describe the structure of muscle tissue in meat and seafood. The results show that DTI can effectively distinguish between different sample qualities and detect changes caused by freezing and thawing damage.

Summary: Diffusion microstructure imaging (DMI) can be used to differentiate brain metastases from glioblastomas. Perilesional T2 hyperintensity in brain metastases is mainly due to edema, while in glioblastomas, there is tumor infiltration.

Summary: This study evaluated the inter-observer and inter-vendor reliability of diffusion tensor imaging parameters in the musculoskeletal system. The results showed high levels of agreement between observers and no significant inter-vendor differences were observed. This indicates that diffusion tensor imaging is highly reproducible and reliable in the musculoskeletal system.

Summary: The study found diffusion abnormalities in the gray matter, dorsal and lateral tracts in chronic degenerative spinal cord compression, with more profound alterations in DCM than NMDC patients. Diffusion metrics were affected in the C3-6 area and above the compression level at C3, with more profound rostral deficits in DCM. Alterations in lateral motor and dorsal sensory tracts correlated with motor and sensory evoked potentials, while electromyography outcomes corresponded with gray matter microstructure. DCM disability corresponded with microstructure alteration in lateral columns.

Summary: The combination of conventional MRI with DTI-DTT is a valid diagnostic approach for acute traumatic cervical SCI. Lower intramedullary lesion length and intramedullary hemorrhage length, and higher fractional anisotropy value and connection rates of fiber tractography are linked to better neurological outcomes.

Summary: The study found that NODDI has good reliability in evaluating epileptogenic tubers in TSC patients. ICVF showed advantages in detecting subtle epileptogenic tubers, and NODDI parameters have the potential to identify epileptogenicity.

Summary: Objective: To investigate the diagnostic performance of a multiparametric MRI protocol in the characterization of gallbladder wall thickening. Methods: Consecutive adults with gallbladder wall thickening were evaluated using multiparametric MRI, and the association of MRI parameters with malignant gallbladder wall thickening was analyzed. Results: The quantitative MRI parameters were significantly associated with malignant gallbladder wall thickening, and the multiparametric MRI showed higher sensitivity than conventional MRI for diagnosing malignant gallbladder wall thickening. Conclusion: Multiparametric MRI improved the diagnostic performance for differentiating benign and malignant gallbladder wall thickening.

Summary: Amyloid-beta (A beta) is crucial in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease, with aberrant accumulation leading to neuroinflammation, cerebrovascular alterations, and cognitive impairments. High-field MRI technology has enabled non-invasive visualization of A beta-related alterations in animal models, offering translational value for clinical MRI applications.

Summary: The study showed that DTI MRI can reveal microstructural differences in myocardium between HCM patients, athletes, and healthy volunteers. HCM patients had significantly higher diffusion and isotropy compared to athletes and volunteers, while the difference between athletes and volunteers was minimal.

Summary: In our research, we used DTI imaging to assess the microstructural degree of spinal cord damage in the course of CM-SM syndrome. We found differences in DTI parameters FA and ADC between non-symptomatic and symptomatic dogs. The study aims to identify the correlation between clinical symptoms and DTI parameters.

Summary: This study applied diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) and generalized q-sampling imaging (GQI) model to predict brain age and found that the DTI model was more accurate in age prediction compared to the GQI model. In addition, the fractional anisotropy (FA) metric from the DTI model was more sensitive to age-related white matter changes in the brain and could be used as white matter biomarkers in aging.

Summary: This study found a direct association between hypertension and cerebral myelin content, showing that individuals with hypertension have lower myelin content and more impaired brain microstructure. These findings are important for further investigating the relationship between hypertension and brain myelin.
