Summary: SnO2 nanofibers with uniform diameters were successfully obtained using ordered anodic porous alumina as a spinneret and wet spinning followed by heat treatment. The monodisperse nanofiber structures were maintained even after heat treatment at 600 degrees C, showcasing the potential for precise fiber diameter control by changing the hole size of the spinneret. The obtained SnO2 nanofibers are expected to be useful in various functional devices.

Summary: This paper presents the anisotropic wet etching of porous anodic alumina (PAA) using phosphoric acid to controllably form various structures, achieving specific structures such as alumina micropillar arrays by controlling the thickness of PAA films. By fine-tuning the etching conditions, cone-shaped pillar arrays can also be obtained. The super-hydrophobic surfaces prepared can be used as templates to replicate various polymer structures.

Summary: Ordered iron oxide nanohole arrays were fabricated by anodization of iron substrates in an ethylene glycol electrolyte containing NH4F and H2O. The optimization of anodization conditions allowed the formation of high aspect ratio nanohole arrays. These arrays are expected to be used in functional devices such as photocatalysts and solar cells.

Summary: Spectroscopic studies were conducted on mesoporous alumina layers obtained by anodic oxidation in various solutions, revealing the influence of thermal treatment, electrolyte type, and excitation time on the emission spectra. Significant differences were found between the afterglow luminescence (A-Lum) and photoluminescence phenomena based on the kinetic parameters of emission decay curves and emission spectra.

Summary: A combinatory two-step anodization technique is proposed to prepare high-order 13-nm-diameter PAO templates, with different anodization times affecting pore ordering. Increasing the anodization time for the second step can enhance the ordering and structure of PAOs, but excessively long anodization times lead to deterioration of ordering.

Summary: This paper discusses the formation of Ta2O5 pillars with Ni tips during thin porous anodic alumina through-mask anodization on Si/SiO2 substrates. It reveals the main mechanism of the formation of Ta2O5 pillars and observes the superparamagnetic behavior of the Ta2O5 nanopillars with Ni tips. These findings provide a theoretical and experimental basis for the development of novel functional nanomaterials.
