Summary: Asteroseismology is a powerful tool for inferring fundamental stellar properties, with an experiment revealing the accuracy of inferred values for mass, radius, and age. Different inference procedures, physics assumptions, and weighting of constraints were found to significantly impact the results. Only a few frequencies were needed for accurate mass and radius estimates, while at least one l = 2 mode was crucial for age estimates.

Summary: Asteroseismic scaling relations can provide high-precision measurements of mass and radius for red giant stars. This study explores the discrepancies between asteroseismic measurements and dynamical measurements in the binary system KIC 8430105. The results show that the uncorrected scaling relations overestimate the mass and radius, but a theoretical correction to Delta nu can improve the consistency between asteroseismic and dynamical measurements.

Summary: The observation of solar-like oscillating subgiant stars by Kepler and TESS missions is crucial for asteroseismic characterization, stellar population studies, and stellar evolution theories. In this study, interior models were constructed to determine the fundamental parameters of four solar-like oscillating subgiant stars, and new asteroseismic methods for determining the age of subgiant stars were developed.

Summary: Asteroseismology using space-based telescopes is crucial for understanding stellar structure and evolution. By analyzing data from observations of 15 evolved solar-like oscillating stars, precise determination of fundamental stellar parameters was achieved through constructing interior models and fitting reference frequencies. The study revealed that fitting reference frequencies typically increased the accuracy of asteroseismic radius, mass, and age, with uncertainties of mass and radius around 3-6% and 1-2% respectively.

Summary: The Kepler space telescope has provided data for asteroseismic analysis on evolved star ensembles, with this study analyzing and modeling eight solar-like oscillating evolved stars in the open cluster NGC 6811. The study used observational asteroseismic and non-asteroseismic constraints to obtain fundamental stellar parameters and constructed stellar interior models using the MESA evolution code. The stellar masses, radius ranges, and ages obtained were compared to those from other methods, showing compatibility with previous literature on NGC 6811.

Summary: This paper investigates the precision and theoretical biases in age determinations of halo stars using both asteroseismic and traditional observational constraints. The results show that more accurate asteroseismic age estimates can be obtained for old, metal-poor stars, while the precision is lower for more metallic stars due to larger uncertainties in the observational parameters. These studies are of great importance for understanding the evolutionary history of the Galaxy.

Summary: An asteroseismic investigation of giant stars in the NGC6791 cluster with indications of atypical evolution utilized data from Kepler, Gaia, ground-based photometry, radial-velocity studies, and measurements of eclipsing binaries to derive key characteristics such as mass, radius, and evolutionary stage. The study found evidence of overmassive, undermassive, and potential past member stars within the cluster, suggesting that around 10% of red giants have experienced mass transfer or mergers. Follow-up spectroscopic observations could confirm past membership and reveal non-standard evolution in certain star types.

Summary: The unprecedented quality of asteroseismic data of solar-type stars has allowed for the exploration of stellar interior structures and improved precision in inferring stellar ages. Using 16 Cyg A and B as benchmark stars, a novel approach was employed to select acceptable stellar models that better represent the core of each star. The results demonstrate a further constraint on the hydrogen mass fraction in the core, establishing the stars' precise evolutionary states and ages.

Summary: This study aims to characterize KIC 4054905 system in details and to test asteroseismic scaling relations. The results show that the system consists of two early RGB stars with an age close to 10 Gyr, belonging to the thick disk of the Milky Way. The precision of the measured dynamical masses and radii is better than 1.0%, and further analysis of similar systems is needed to establish the accuracy of asteroseismic methods.

Summary: The study shows that the treatment of initial helium abundance in stellar model grids significantly affects the inferred stellar parameters, especially the stellar mass and radius. The systematic uncertainties arising from different methods of handling initial helium abundance are within the expected accuracy limits of ESA's PLATO, except for the age parameter.

Summary: The J-PAS filter system has great potential in studying stellar and cosmological properties, providing precise atmospheric parameters of stars. We have established stellar loci for different metallicities, enabling the determination of elemental abundances from J-PAS photometry. The miniJPAS filters also show potential in distinguishing dwarfs and giants. These results demonstrate the power of the J-PAS filter system in stellar parameter determinations and the significant potential of the upcoming J-PAS survey in stellar and Galactic studies.

Summary: Tidal forces play a crucial role in both the pre-main-sequence and main-sequence phases of stellar evolution, influencing the circularization and synchronization of orbits in binary systems. This study aims to identify evidence of tidal circularization in close binaries by analyzing a large sample of well-characterized eclipsing systems. The analysis of the Optical Gravitational Lensing Experiment (OGLE) photometric catalogue reveals a clear dependence of components' relative radii and orbital period on eccentricity, suggesting that tidal circularization may be more efficient in binaries with longer orbital periods than previously assumed.
