It is shown that creation of conditions for forming nonmetallic excess phase particles of a specific type, amount and dimensions during metal processing is an important tool making it possible to provide a breakthrough in increasing the level and stability of mechanical, physicochemical properties and other service characteristics for steels of various types, including ultralow-carbon stamping and high-strength, thermally strengthened, low-carbon, and microalloyed automobile steels. A method is proposed for controlling precipitation of non-metallic excess phases in order to create energy- and resource-saving technology for producing a new generation of automobile sheet steels of various types.
