Summary: This article discusses the importance and challenges of visiting friends and relatives (VFR) travel, as well as how to capitalize on this form of travel. Lockdowns have resulted in people being unable to see their loved ones, increasing the demand for reconnecting, which presents new opportunities and challenges for VFR travel.

Summary: There is a growing interest in novelty search, which aims to explore a parameter space without any specific objective function. The search activity focuses on achieving diversity and density in the parameter space, but balancing these objectives becomes harder as the dimension of the parameter space increases. Archive-based methods are discussed for different types of parameter spaces, and practitioners are provided with practical search methods.

Summary: This paper addresses theoretical and methodological issues central to the study of insults on social media, proposing the concepts of genuine insults, jocular insults, and humorous genuine insults. The analysis discusses the challenges of categorizing insults on social media and examines the shifts between different insults occurring in one interactional space.

Summary: This study explores the presence of cortisol in tooth structures and suggests that cortisol can be detected in both dentine and enamel. Although concentrations were low and not all teeth yielded measurable results, the study opens up possibilities for further research in modern and archaeological contexts. Further verification through liquid chromatographic-mass spectrometry could enhance the integration of these results with existing cortisol studies.

Summary: This paper compares and contrasts different definitions of open texture and explores the consequences of open-textured concepts in mathematics. It argues that informal proofs have advantages in mitigating the dangers posed by open texture, and points out that eliminating open texture through formalization and axiomatization comes at the cost of restricting concepts.

Summary: Urban dynamics in European Mediterranean countries reflect various responses to different economic impulses. The study highlights the importance of qualitative and quantitative assessments of gentrification patterns and processes in European cities, emphasizing the consolidation of social mix through informal processes of inner city gentrification.

Summary: Proof is a key topic in mathematics and an essential part of formal education at all levels. Investigating arguments formulated by students, this study found that reasoning styles and representations used did not affect the level of generality in proofs, although harmonic and analytical reasoning and the use of algebraic representations were favored for higher levels of argumentation.

Summary: This paper introduces an anthropological approach to studying the foundations of mathematics and explores how the logic of mathematical argumentation is realized and substantiated in mathematical practice. The paper also considers other features of proving, such as notational coherence, proof-specific detail, and the structuring of mathematical argumentation. Through this exploration, the paper demonstrates the feasibility of a real-world anthropology of disciplinary mathematical practice.

Summary: The paper argues that mathematical proof is essentially a form of argumentation with the mathematician's universal audience in mind, reflecting the standards of reasonableness embodied in that audience. By reconstructing mathematical methods in terms of audiences, the introduction of proof methods based on the universal audience can be better understood.

Summary: Strategy-as-practice research plays a crucial role in understanding how strategy emerges from the actions and words of individuals in organizations. However, there is still ongoing debate about the definition of practice. Therefore, proposing the inclusion of the principle of knowledgeability at the core of the conceptualization of practice can help revitalize and deepen this field of research.

Summary: CAR-T cell-based therapies have shown success in hematological malignancies but have been limited in solid tumors due to the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment. A mathematical model in this paper suggests that targeting solid tumor antigens with large numbers of CAR-T cells could overcome this immunosuppression, potentially leading to successful treatments. Computer simulations indicate that the strategy of utilizing CAR-T cells targeting multiple antigens may lead to the expansion of a strong army of CAR-T cells in solid tumors. This proposed approach could provide a promising avenue for overcoming the immune suppression and achieving successful CAR-T cell therapies against solid tumors.

Summary: Mathematical proofs must be rigorous to be considered proper justification for mathematical knowledge. The standard view that mathematical proofs should be able to be translated into formal proofs is widely accepted by contemporary mathematicians, but has also been criticized in the philosophy of mathematics literature. Debate on this topic is currently blocked by a lack of precise formulation.
