Summary: This study aimed to investigate the association between changes in FABP4 concentration and hormone and metabolite levels during and after acute low- and moderate-intensity aerobic exercise in healthy men. The results showed that FABP4 concentration did not increase during aerobic exercise, but significantly increased after the exercise. The increase in FABP4 concentration was not correlated with changes in adrenaline, noradrenaline, and other hormone and metabolite concentrations.

Summary: The study demonstrated that oral intake of Lactococcus lactis strain plasma (LC-Plasma) significantly reduces the cumulative days with dengue fever-like symptoms, including fever, muscle pain, joint pain, and pain behind the eyes. Furthermore, the severity score of symptoms was significantly reduced in the LC-Plasma group according to subgroup analysis.

Summary: This study evaluated the safety, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics of an oral small molecule GnRH antagonist, SHR7280, in healthy men. The results demonstrated that SHR7280 had an acceptable safety profile and favorable pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic characteristics within a dose range of 100 to 1000 mg BID. This study proposes a rationale for further investigation of SHR7280 as a potential androgen deprivation therapy.

Summary: High salt intake is a significant risk factor for noncommunicable diseases, including obesity. This study aimed to investigate the influence of high salt intake on diet-induced thermogenesis(DIT), a process that contributes to energy expenditure. The results showed that a moderate short-term increase in salt intake decreased DIT, which could partially explain the weight gain observed in populations consuming a Western diet high in salt.
