Summary: This study aimed to identify indirectness characteristics of economic evaluations that influence the selection of articles for recommendation decision-making. Through the analysis of 57 relevant articles, it was found that population, intervention and comparison research question elements, resource use estimation and methodology, and provider and decision maker acceptability were the most important indirectness study characteristics.

Summary: In this paper, a novel feature fusion network (MBF) is proposed to address the differences between drone and satellite images, achieving more effective geo-localization. By adding status information and using hierarchical bilinear pooling, the robustness of feature representation is improved. Experimental results demonstrate significant performance boosting on existing benchmark datasets.

Summary: Two experiments compared the effects of learning by drawing to studying instructor-provided visuals on learning outcomes, learning time, and cognitive load. The results showed that generating drawings prior to studying provided visuals can improve learning outcomes, despite increasing learning time and cognitive load.

Summary: Patients often cannot reliably determine whether their child's inhaler has run out of medication, highlighting the urgent need for improved technology and guidance. Research recommends medication review during asthma appointments, but the presence of propellant in metered dose inhalers complicates identification of when they are empty. The COVID-19 pandemic has increased reliance on virtual monitoring, making accurate identification of empty inhalers even more essential.

Summary: A study found that approximately 6.63% of patients with acute appendicitis aged 40 and older also had colorectal neoplasms, with 1.04% being colorectal cancer. The mortality rate for caecal cancer in these patients was 75%. Patients over the age of 55 had a higher risk of caecal pathology (polyp and cancer), and routine colonoscopy or CT pneumocolon is recommended for these patients presenting with acute appendicitis.
