Summary: Methylation profiling has important implications for the classification and treatment of CNS-PNET. This study provides insights for clinical decision-making by analyzing the clinical and molecular features of pediatric CNS-PNET patients. Significant differences in treatment response and survival rates were observed among different molecular subgroups identified by DNA methylation profiling.

Summary: The study evaluated the prevalence of impaired kidney function and identified factors associated with increased odds for kidney impairment in adult survivors of childhood cancer diagnosed ?10 years earlier. About 2.1% of survivors had stages 3?5 CKD, with factors such as treatment with certain chemotherapy agents and kidney irradiation volume contributing to the risk.

Summary: The PROSE trial aims to investigate the incidence of thromboembolic-related complications with different mechanical prostheses and found that there were no significant differences in preoperative demographics or risk factors between the two types of prostheses. However, the study did find differentiation in preoperative and operative risk factors between Western and Developing populations, despite the lack of differentiation in preoperative demographics.

Summary: Adult survivors of childhood cancer have poor adherence to nutrition guidelines and inadequate intake of certain vitamins and minerals. The use of dietary supplements is common among these survivors. However, it is associated with both inadequate and excessive nutrient intake, and positively impacts certain aspects of quality of life.

Summary: This study evaluated the effect of composition, fabrication mode, and thermal cycling on the mechanical properties of different polymeric systems used for temporary dental prostheses. The results showed that the composition and fabrication mode, as well as thermal cycling, significantly influenced the flexural strength and elastic modulus of the polymeric systems.
