Summary: The global tropospheric ozone burden has increased by 28.1 Tg from 1980 to 2010, with a significant portion attributed to global methane increase. Emission changes in Southeast Asia, South Asia, and East Asia have a high impact on the global ozone burden, highlighting the importance of controlling emissions in tropical and subtropical regions for global ozone levels.

Summary: The burden of alcoholic cardiomyopathy (ACM) has significantly increased in China and globally from 1990 to 2019. The highest burden is seen in high-middle socio-demographic index (SDI) regions, particularly among men aged 50-69 years old. Tailored strategies based on geography and gender-age are needed to prevent ACM.

Summary: This study investigates the relationship between immigration and regional resilience, finding that immigrants have positive effects on key economic, social, and community resilience indicators. Immigration also contributes to the overall resilience capacity of a region, and is associated with the resistance, recoverability, and growth of the regions.

Summary: This article investigated the spatial and temporal trends in HIV/AIDS burden from 1990 to 2019. The global trends in HIV/AIDS incidence, death, and DALYs of HIV/AIDS decreased over the past 15 years, but the disease prevalence showed a slight increasing trend. An unfavorable trend emerged in High-middle and High SDI areas.

Summary: In recent decades, the incidence and mortality of kidney cancer have shown variability in European Union countries and World Health Organization regions. While the incidence and mortality rates have generally increased, there has been an overall improvement in kidney cancer outcomes, reflected by a decrease in the mortality-to-incidence ratio.

Summary: This study analyzed the burden changes of AUD in different countries and regions from 1990 to 2019 using open access data. Significant variations in AUD burden by income level were found, indicating the need for future strategies to prevent and reduce the burden based on specific country development status.

Summary: This study investigated the burden of lung cancer in Wuhan from 2010 to 2019 and found both upward and downward trends in mortality rates. Lung cancer mortality tended to increase with age and peaked in the 85-89 age group. The Xinzhou District had the highest lung cancer mortality rate. Population aging and growth aggravated the burden of lung cancer deaths. Lung cancer surveillance should be strengthened to reduce the burden of lung cancer in Wuhan.

Summary: This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the global geographic patterns and temporal trends in the mortality and incidence of oesophageal cancer. The results show that the mortality and incidence trends have significantly decreased in most countries of South America and Asia, but varied in European countries. The study highlights the importance of implementing preventative efforts for populations with rising mortality and incidence trends.

Summary: This study summarized the global burden, risk factors, and trends in the incidence and mortality of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL). The global annual number of new NHL cases is approximately 545,000, with 260,000 deaths. NHL incidence and mortality rates have been steadily increasing, particularly among women, older adults, obese populations, and HIV-infected individuals. Future efforts should focus on raising health awareness and implementing tailored cancer prevention strategies.

Summary: This study aims to analyze and predict the epidemiological burden and trends of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in China and compare them globally. The findings show that the incidence and prevalence of IBD in China have increased over the years, leading to an increased burden in terms of years of life lost and years lived with disability, while the mortality rate and burden of disability-adjusted life-years have decreased.
