Summary: Large-scale synthesis of (Ag,Cu)(In,Ga)Se2 (ACIGS) thin films was achieved using a hybrid ink method. The use of Se@Ag2Se core-shell allowed for the formation of ACIGS thin films at lower reaction temperature and shorter reaction time. Sb-doping improved the performance of ACIGS solar cells, increasing the conversion efficiency and carrier concentration.

Summary: This article presents a simple and scalable method for the synthesis of Cu1.8Se and Ag2Se nanocrystals using novel complexes as single source molecular precursors. The low temperature synthesis of these nanocrystals, guided by preformed cores in the complexes, ensures the crystal structure and phase purity. The resulting nanocrystals exhibit suitable band gaps for solar cell applications and demonstrate high photoresponsivity and stability.

Summary: The nanocatalysts of Ag nanoparticles coated on anatase TiO2-n% nanocrystals with co-exposed {1 0 1} and {0 0 1} facets show excellent catalytic activity during soot combustion, with the highest catalytic activity and lowest activation energy observed in Ag/TiO2-79% catalyst. The catalytic mechanism involves synergistic effects between coordinatively unsaturated Ti-5c and adjacent Ag atoms at the interface of TiO2-n% nanocrystal, boosting the key step of O-2 activation. This highlights an effective strategy for developing high-efficient catalysts through crystal facet engineering of metal oxides during oxidation reactions.

Summary: Cellulose was extracted from rice straw and a highly active solid-supported catalytic model was developed in this study. By conjugating with poly(ethylene-co-vinyl acetate) (PEVA) and inserting silver nanoparticles, a composite catalyst was successfully fabricated. The hybrid catalyst exhibited excellent reaction yields in the Willgerodt-Kindler reaction and showed high stability and recyclability.

Summary: The objective of this study is to evaluate the potential health effects of elemental impurities in green tea infusions. The study employed ICP-MS-based methodology for elemental analysis and conducted a health risk evaluation based on weekly consumption. The study found that the amounts of evaluated elements in green tea infusions do not pose a risk to consumers' health. Further considerations should be given to factors such as environmental pollution.
