Summary: This study evaluated the accuracy and efficiency of the Elements SmartBrush Spine (ESS) system for automatic target delineation in spine SBRT. The results showed that ESS can segment vertebrae more accurately and consistently than humans at normal curvature conditions, improving the accuracy of CTV delineation. However, ESS may make mistakes in cases with large curvatures. In most cases, the relative volume differences (RVD) were within +/- 15%.

Summary: The study demonstrates the use of the Simple Segmentation Tool (SST) for categorizing older individuals into clinical categories of healthcare and related service needs based on Global Impression (GI) segments and complicating factors (CFs). Clinicians can complete the brief instrument with modest training to provide comprehensive care for patients and overcome limitations of EMR-based instruments.

Summary: Burnout is a major problem, and in order to effectively measure the levels of burnout, we have developed a shorter version of the Burnout Assessment Tool (BAT) called BAT12. By combining quantitative and qualitative approaches, we developed BAT12 and evaluated its construct validity using Rasch analysis. The results showed that BAT12 has sound psychometric properties and performs consistently across different age groups, genders, and countries.

Summary: This retrospective cross-sectional analysis found an association between hypercholesterolemia and neck pain, suggesting that high cholesterol levels may contribute to cervical spine degeneration. Prevention and proper management of high cholesterol levels may help reduce the development and progression of degenerative cervical disk disease and, consequently, neck pain.

Summary: This study explores the association between psychiatric symptoms following COVID-19 and demographic, disease-related and premorbid clinical confounders. The results suggest that depression, anxiety, and PTSD symptoms are common in post-COVID-19 patients and are likely to be unrelated to disease-related and premorbid features.

Summary: Early screening for depressive disorders is crucial due to its significant global burden of disease and connection to suicides. This study aimed to develop a brief, culturally adapted depression screening tool. Results from the survey and statistical analysis of 527 participants showed that the developed Mental Health Screening Tool for Depressive Disorders (MHS:D) exhibited excellent internal consistency, convergent validity, and model fit. Moreover, the MHS:D accurately screened for major depressive disorder in both online and paper-pencil versions. Item response theory analysis also revealed that the MHS:D provided more information than other depression scales.

Summary: A scoping review found that there is a lack of consensus concerning the definitions of text neck in the academic literature. Posture was identified as the defining characteristic, with adjectives qualifying incorrect posture. Other components of the definitions included overuse, mechanical stress or tensions, musculoskeletal symptoms, and tissue damage. However, there is no scientific evidence linking text neck with neck pain regardless of the definition used, suggesting that adjectives like inappropriate or incorrect should be avoided.

Summary: Multi-positional MRI can help identify dynamic cord compressive lesions in CDS patients. Higher eC27A, e-nC27A values, and smaller C7 slope indicate increased likelihood of cervical dynamic stenosis. Therefore, we recommend multi-positional MRI before surgery, especially when a patient's e-nC27A is greater than 15.4 degrees.

Summary: The study investigated the response of neck pain patients to scapular repositioning, with approximately 75% of patients showing a positive response. Factors strongly associated with a positive response included the presence of headache, scapular downward rotation, and a positive flexion rotation test.
