Summary: Research and publications are vital for residents and fellows to secure competitive fellowship programs and advance their careers. This study evaluated the publication rate of abstracts presented at Ascension Providence Hospital during their Research Day over a 10-year period. The findings indicate that despite award-winning presentations, a significant proportion of projects remained unpublished.

Summary: The study showed that introducing PCV13 into the national immunization program in South Korea was estimated to have a greater impact and be more cost-effective compared to PCV10. This was mainly due to the broader serotype coverage of PCV13, leading to more cases of pneumococcal disease being averted and cost-saving.
Summary: The study aimed to determine the impact of posting video abstracts on a social media platform (Twitter) on the dissemination of poster abstract content from the National Association of Medical Examiners annual general meeting. Analysis showed that video views per tweet ranged from 34 to 824, with an average of 338 views, and the number of impressions per tweet ranged from 192 to 4629, with an average of 1811 impressions. The results indicated a significant increase in the dissemination of poster abstracts beyond conference attendees through the use of video summaries.
