The developed method shows high sensitivity, low detection limit, and good environmental adaptability.

A delicate approach to the determination of duloxetine hydrochloride using electrospun polyvinylidene difluoride nanofibers

Summary: A simple and delicate approach using electrospun PVDF nanofibers was developed for the determination of duloxetine hydrochloride, with synthesis monitored by UV spectrophotometer, and characterization carried out by AFM and FTIR. The study demonstrated accurate determination of duloxetine hydrochloride with excellent regression coefficient and LOD/LOQ values from the calibration curve of standards in PVDF solution.

Highly selective sub-micromolar level colorimetric sensor for lanthanum detection based on L-tyrosine functionalized silver nanoparticles

Summary: A simple, efficient and cost effective protocol was established for the synthesis of silver nanoparticles using L-Tyrosine as capping agent in aqueous medium.The synthesized TYR-AgNPs were confirmed to be spherical in geometry with an average size of 18 nm. These TYR-AgNPs were successfully employed as a colorimetric sensor for trace level detection of lanthanum ions. The developed sensor showed linear response in the concentration range of 0.5-22.5 mu M with a limit of detection (LOD) of 0.06 mu M.

Electrochemical monitoring of isoproturon herbicide using NiO/V2O5/rGO/GCE

Electrocatalytic evaluation of β-SnWO4/rGO nanostructure for low-level urea detection

Summary: Urea is an important organic compound widely used in agriculture and can also affect human health. A new electrochemical sensor based on beta-SnWO4/rGO/GCE was developed to accurately measure urea concentration in urine. By optimizing various parameters, the sensor showed high sensitivity with LOD and LOQ values of 0.00016 and 0.0005 μM, respectively. The sensor was successfully applied to urine samples, demonstrating its reliability and sensitivity.

Chemometric Approach for the Evaluation of Quality and Thermo-Oxidative Stability of Soybean, Palm Olein and Canola Oils and Their Blends

Summary: This study aimed to analyze the potential phytochemical substances in vegetables and fruits from Larkana, Sindh, Pakistan using qualitative and quantitative methods. The results showed the presence of important phytochemicals such as phenols, proteins, quinones, alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, terpenoids, and carbohydrates. GC-MS identified various phytochemical compounds, while FTIR spectroscopy revealed typical functional groups.

Chromatographic evaluation of tocols and sterols of processed canola oil and deodorizer distillate

Summary: The study found that the levels of total and individual tocols and sterols in canola oil and deodorizer distillate decreased during processing, with deodorization being the most effective process for reduction. Deodorization was particularly effective, resulting in a 55.9% reduction in total sterols and a 34.2% reduction in tocols. Significant amounts of tocols and sterols were observed in the deodorizer distillate, which could be utilized as a valuable by-product in the cosmetics and food industries.
