Summary: The YCr0.5Fe0.5O3 ceramics with different sintering temperatures exhibit changes in structural, magnetic, and dielectric properties as the grain size decreases with lower sintering temperatures. The competition between single ion magnetic anisotropy and antisymmetric Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya interaction leads to size-dependent total magnetization behavior at the compensation temperature. Adjusting the magnetic field affects the compensation temperature, resulting in a positive exchange bias effect.

Summary: Ni-doped CaCu3Ti4O12 ceramics were synthesized with different compositions and their electrical properties were studied. The samples exhibited high dielectric constant and low dielectric loss, which was attributed to the mechanism of ionic charge transfer predominating at room temperature, leading to significant values of impedance phase at low frequencies.

Summary: Ceramic samples of barium ferrostannate BaFe1/2Sn1/2O3-delta were prepared using sol-gel and hydrothermal synthesis methods, and annealing in oxygen was performed to reduce the number of oxygen vacancies. The experimental results indicate the presence of antiferromagnetic ordering at relatively low temperatures, followed by further spin glass magnetic ordering at even lower temperatures. The giant dielectric response is believed to be caused by the relaxation of electrons trapped by oxygen vacancies. The comparison of Fe K-edge X-ray absorption spectra suggests significant differences between BaFe1/2Sn1/2O3-delta and the similar stoichiometric BaFe1/2Nb1/2O3 perovskite.

Summary: A new kind of high-entropy rare earth garnet ceramics was successfully synthesized by solid state reaction. The increase of Al content leads to the decrease of relative dielectric constant and the increase of dielectric loss. The activation energies of grain boundary and grain electrical conductivities indicate that the difference between them enhances the dielectric properties. These findings provide important insights for the study of colossal dielectric materials.

Summary: Tm2O3 was introduced into the KNN structure for the first time in this study, and (1-x)K0.5Na0.5Nb0.7Ta0.3O3xTm(2)O(3) (x=0.1-1.0%) powders were synthesized through a solvothermal method. The corresponding ceramics were prepared via atmospheric sintering. The introduction of Tm3+ promoted the refinement of KNN grain and resulted in significant increase in room-temperature dielectric permittivity and relaxation dispersion.

Summary: This study investigates the effect of Sm doping on the structural, dielectric, multiferroic, and electrical properties of GaFeO3. It is found that the unit cell volume increases with increasing Sm content, and irregular-shaped grains are uniformly distributed on the surface. Significant variations in the dielectric properties are observed with different Sm contents. Furthermore, the coexistence of ferroelectric and magnetic ordering is confirmed, and the remanent polarization and magnetization decrease with increasing Sm content.

Summary: This study investigates the effect of Nd doping on the properties of Pb1 - xNdx(Fe0.5Nb0.5)(1 - x/4)O-3 (PNFN) solid solutions. XRD analysis shows a monoclinic crystal structure with Cm space group for all solid solutions. Nd concentration affects the dielectric properties, AC conductivity, and impedance spectroscopy results of the materials. The ferroelectric nature of the materials is confirmed by the analysis of polarization vs. electric field loops.
