Summary: This study investigated the effectiveness, safety, and impact on quality of life of a standardized treatment using 5% imiquimod cream for noninvasive vulvar Paget disease. The study included 24 patients who were treated with topical 5% imiquimod cream three times a week for 16 weeks. The results showed that 82.6% of the patients responded to the treatment, with a complete response reported in 52.2% of the patients. Adverse effects such as fatigue and headaches were observed, and some patients needed painkillers during treatment. The treatment improved patients' quality of life, but a slight temporary negative impact was observed during treatment. Recurrence of the disease was observed in some patients after 1 year.

Summary: This article reviews the purpose of the study, recent findings, and treatment approaches for Extramammary Paget disease (EMPD). EMPD is a rare tumor of uncertain origin, and treatment can involve various methods including surgery, radiotherapy, photodynamic therapy, chemotherapy, and targeted therapy. The article highlights the need for further research and diagnostic tools to guide therapeutic decisions for EMPD.

Summary: This study aimed to evaluate the role of HE4 and CA125 in early identification of PVD and during relapses. The research included 50 patients, with no significant changes in CA125 and HE4 levels before and after surgery in PVD patients. HE4 showed significant differences between PVD patients and the control group, while CA125 was not sensitive for PVD. This suggests HE4 may be helpful in early identification of PVD.

Summary: Vulval extramammary Paget disease (vEMPD) is a rare malignant tumor that can occur as a primary or secondary condition. This article reports two cases of metaplastic MGLA of the vulva and proposes a new hypothesis that some cases of vulval MGLA may originate from Paget disease. Additionally, a unique case of secondary vEMPD resulting from the spread of urothelial carcinoma in situ is also reported.

Summary: In this retrospective analysis, the incidence, clinical and pathological features of cervico-vaginal involvement in extra-mammary Paget's disease (EMPD) of the vulva were investigated. It was found that 2.5% of patients developed cervico-vaginal involvement at 5 years, 6.5% at 10 years, and 14.0% at 15 years. Abnormal glandular cytology was the primary method of detection, and most patients had invasive EMPD and required hysterectomy with colpectomy. Liquid-based cytology with immunocytochemistry was recommended for early diagnosis and lifelong follow-up.

Summary: Paget disease of de Vulva is a rare neoplastic intraepithelial pathology that is mainly treated with surgical excision. This case report describes a patient with vulvar Paget's disease who underwent surgery for extensive and recurrent lesions. The diagnosis and management of Paget disease require careful consideration, and prognostic factors play a crucial role in treatment selection and disease progression.

Summary: This study retrospectively analyzed 21 patients with distant metastatic EMPD and found that while chemotherapy can prolong progression-free survival, it did not significantly improve overall survival. Considering the frequent adverse events of conventional chemotherapy, targeted therapy may become a mainstay for the treatment of metastatic EMPD in the future.

Summary: This study analyzed the medical and surgical strategies for the treatment of Vulvar Paget's disease (VPD). It found that both surgical excision and medical conservative treatment have certain effectiveness, but the disease has a high recurrence rate. The best type of therapy should be tailored based on individual patient characteristics and biopsy histopathologic findings.

Summary: This study demonstrates that psoriasis disrupts gut homeostasis in mice, leading to an increased susceptibility to inflammatory bowel disease. This suggests a two-hit requirement, involving psoriasis-induced altered gut homeostasis and a secondary environmental challenge.

Summary: An 81-year-old woman was evaluated for a stroke, with imaging studies showing diffuse abnormalities in the neurocranium. F-18-NA PET/CT was able to differentiate between various possible diagnoses, ultimately diagnosing the patient with monostotic Paget disease based on imaging findings and laboratory tests.
