Summary: This study aimed to assess the effect of interprofessional education on the behavior of interprofessional professionalism among the surgical team. The results showed that interprofessional education had a significant positive impact on the participants in the intervention group, with higher IPA scores compared to the control group after one and three months of the intervention. Interprofessional education was recognized as an effective strategy to develop interprofessional professionalism behavior.

Summary: Rehabilitation services are essential for optimizing functioning and reducing disability. Eight core professions offer rehabilitation services, each with its own entry-level competencies. A thematic analysis of international standards for rehabilitation professions revealed common themes of evidence-based practice, cultural competence, professional behavior, and interprofessional collaboration. This analysis enhances understanding of how rehabilitation professionals can work together on interprofessional teams.
