The results indicate that the impact of interprofessional education should not only be measured through learners' perceptions, modifiable and nonmodifiable factors are associated with its effectiveness, and various instruments and methods can be used to measure outcomes.

Summary: This study examined the readiness of undergraduate nursing students for interprofessional learning and socialisation in a large Australian university. The results showed that the mode of study and prior healthcare experience did not significantly affect students' readiness for interprofessional learning and socialisation. However, previous healthcare experience and duration of study significantly improved students' interprofessional socialisation skills. This suggests that nursing students may have interprofessional education opportunities that influence their perceived socialisation skills.

Summary: This review examines the literature on the development of interpersonal communication skills within undergraduate paramedicine. The findings highlight the importance of interpersonal communication in improving patient outcomes and reducing medical errors. It is evident that these skills can be fostered through human interactions, work integrated learning, and simulation training in undergraduate paramedicine programs. Additionally, interprofessional and intraprofessional simulation teaching methods show potential in building students' communication confidence and awareness of teamwork.

Summary: Contemporary practice in interprofessional education has primarily focused on learners' competencies for interprofessional collaboration, while overlooking the competencies that educators need. There is a lack of global consensus on the core competencies needed for IPE facilitation, as well as globally accepted tools to assess interprofessional educators' competencies. The International Working Group for Interprofessional Educators Competencies, Assessment, and Training aims to address this gap by providing globally developed tools to foster IPE educator competencies.

Summary: Family and domestic violence is a global problem with various forms of abuse and negative consequences. In Australia, national surveys provide data on public perspectives, but may not capture local diversity. This study aimed to develop and administer a questionnaire-based survey for a local community in outer regional Australia to understand knowledge, attitudes, and experiences of family and domestic violence, and to investigate the factors and predictors of responses.

Summary: The aim of this study was to explore the role of physician associates in patient care and team collaboration within the hospital setting. The findings showed that physician associates play an effective and safe role in providing care, but their integration into teams varied. There was a lack of knowledge about the physician associate role among staff and patients.
