ZnIn2S4 nanoparticles were successfully synthesized by a facile microwave approach using zinc acetate, InCl3 and thiourea as starting reagents. The products with different morphologies were characterized by X-ray diffraction, energy-dispersive analysis of X-ray, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and photoluminescence spectroscopy.
