A total of 48,001 tissue preferentially upregulated and tissue specifically expressed genes were identified, providing valuable information for further studies in plant physiology, population genetics and genomics.

These findings, in conjunction with historical and archaeological evidence, contribute to testing various hypotheses regarding origins and biological relationships.
