Summary: This study assessed the requirements of 100 journals in neuroscience and physiology regarding the transparency of research methods and results. It found that some journals did not mention or mentioned less about this issue. Journals can improve the quality of research reports by mandating or encouraging responsible reporting practices.

Summary: Just like in other aspects of indoor environmental quality, standards are crucial in the field of building and room acoustics. They should represent the latest technology and determine if a building's design and construction meet the required standards. It is important to ensure that these standards are based on scientific evidence.

Summary: Social innovations in health are inclusive solutions that aim to address healthcare delivery gaps through a multi-stakeholder, community-engaged process. The SIFHR Checklist, developed through a global open call and a 3-round Delphi process, will strengthen reporting transparency and end-user engagement in social innovation projects. Further research is needed to evaluate, scale up, and sustain social innovation for health.

Summary: This study critically appraised the quality of methodological reporting in ACS-TQIP studies and found that the quality remains suboptimal. Most studies did not adequately describe the patient population selection process, address data cleaning and missing values, or state inclusion/exclusion criteria and outcome variables. Studies published in high-impact factor journals had higher quality of reporting compared to those in low-impact factor journals.

Summary: The study aimed to describe the statistical reporting guidance provided to authors by clinical neurology and neuroscience journals. The results showed that most journals had limited requirements for sample size justification, estimates of precision, and method of checking assumptions. They also lacked guidance on reporting/interpretation of p-values, descriptive statistics, and appropriate graphs. Therefore, there is an opportunity for journals to improve the transparency of statistical methods and results in these fields.

Summary: This paper proposes a guideline that outlines the essential elements to report in research studies that involve eye tracking technology with human or non-human primate participants. The guideline was developed through a three-year consensus-based process, which included input from the international eye tracking community. The guideline will undergo reviews at least every four years.

Summary: The data suggests that GoodReports website plays a positive role in improving the quality and transparency of health research reports. The majority of users find the tool highly useful and make modifications to their manuscripts. Authors who receive reporting guideline recommendations from GoodReports tend to submit more complete checklists compared to those who do not use the tool. Providing reporting guidance early in the writing process is more effective in ensuring completeness of study reports.

Summary: Non-targeted analysis (NTA) workflows using mass spectrometry are becoming increasingly popular in various disciplines, but there is still a lack of universally accepted reporting standards. To address this issue, researchers have developed the NTA Study Reporting Tool (SRT), which has been shown to be effective in guiding study design, manuscript writing, and evaluating NTA reporting quality through analysis of published articles.

Summary: This study investigates the transformation of data content standards to linked data through conversion from other formats, based on a proposed layered framework. Several main issues were examined under the basic policies for making linked data: assigning URIs to units, defining relationships among instructions with URIs, and expressing instructed content properly using RDF properties. By making proper choices for each issue, actual standards such as RDA and Dublin Core User Guide were successfully converted to linked data. The results demonstrate the validity and usefulness of this approach in utilizing linked data.

Summary: Laboratory registration codes play a critical role in standardized laboratory animal and genetic nomenclature, ensuring accurate scientific communication and research reproducibility. These codes are assigned by the International Laboratory Code Registry and maintained by ILAR. Continued recognition of the importance of genetic backgrounds and variants in research highlights the need for broader adoption of standardized animal naming conventions.

Summary: This study investigated the scientific collaboration and citation metrics of reporting guidelines for health research. A cross-sectional analysis of published articles and network analyses of collaborations were conducted. The results identified key actors, intense collaborations, and 'citation classics' in the field, which could be used to strengthen collaborations for developing and disseminating reporting guidelines for health research.
