Summary: The present study aimed to establish an LC-MS/MS method for determining SHR9146 in mouse plasma and tissues, and investigate its pharmacokinetics and tissue distribution. The results showed that SHR9146 had dose-independent kinetics in mice via oral administration and was absorbed rapidly and distributed widely.

Summary: The study found that the concentration of SAS in mouse brain was much lower than in plasma, with only a small percentage of SAS metabolized into significant metabolites SP and Ac-SP. The results suggest that metabolites such as SP and Ac-SP may be responsible for the pharmacological effects in the brain, rather than SAS itself.

Summary: The study aimed to investigate tissue residue depletion in pigs fed G. elegans powder. Two quantitation methods, including a precise method and a semi-quantitation method, were developed and validated for the analysis of multiple components in pig tissues. The results showed that G. elegans alkaloids were widely distributed in pig tissues, and potential residue markers and target tissues were identified. The findings provide important scientific evidence for evaluating the safety of animal-derived food from G. elegans.

Summary: In this study, a highly specific and sensitive method for detecting residues of Zilpaterol in cattle was developed. The method was optimized in terms of the composition of the aqueous mobile phase, precipitation agent, and solid phase extraction (SPE) conditions, and fully validated. The results showed that tissues can be consumed by humans after 4th day of zilpaterol withdrawal.

Summary: In this study, a water-stable and freely dispersible nanoformulation of curcumin was prepared and characterized. The effects of this nanoformulation on cholangiocytes under fibrotic pathological conditions were investigated. The results showed that curcumin nanoformulation exhibited anti-inflammatory properties and induced programmed cell death to counteract cellular damages induced by TGF-beta. It also positively influenced the expression of proteins involved in TGF-beta-mediated fibrosis. These findings provide insights into the mechanisms associated with cholangiopathies and potential for targeted therapies.

Summary: The extracellular matrix (ECM) components play a role in maintaining cellular architecture and tissue morphology. Brain tissue, with its high cell density and weak mechanical strength, poses challenges in decellularization. We successfully obtained ECM components from mouse brains using a combination of decellularization and polymerization methods, which can be useful for obtaining matrisomal data and conducting functional studies.

Summary: This study evaluated a three-compartmental semi-physiological model for analyzing the uptake clearance and efflux from brain tissue of hydrophilic markers, sucrose and mannitol, in comparison to non-compartmental techniques. The model accurately described the experimental data, providing estimates for uptake clearance and brain efflux of the two markers. The results showed significant differences in uptake clearance between sucrose and mannitol, while brain efflux clearance values were not statistically different.

Summary: This study developed a method for the simultaneous quantification of ceftazidime and avibactam, and evaluated dried blood spots (DBS) as a matrix for improved stability of the drugs. The results showed that the stability of ceftazidime and avibactam was better in DBS compared to plasma, extending the maximal transport times to 24 hours for DBS samples.
