Summary: Injury to skeletal muscle initiates muscle regeneration, which involves the formation of regenerating myofibers with central myonuclei. However, little is known about the maturation process of regenerating myofibers into normal-sized myofibers with peripheral myonuclei. This review compares and contrasts myofiber maturation during muscle development and regeneration, aiming to identify unique cellular and molecular processes of myofiber maturation in muscle regeneration.

Summary: Nociplastic pain, distinguished from neuropathic and nociceptive pain, is a recently identified type of pain that is well-documented in literature. Its pathophysiology, including alterations in spinal fluid elements, brain structure, and psychological factors, has not been clearly established. Diagnostic tools originally developed for neuropathic pain, such as the painDETECT and Douleur Neuropathique 4 questionnaires, can also be used for nociplastic pain, but more standardized instruments are needed for assessment. Nociplastic pain is found in various diseases, and current treatments for other types of pain may not be suitable. Efforts are being made to establish effective management strategies, leading to several clinical trials. Physicians should widely discuss and recognize this concept to optimize pain control for patients.

Summary: The article discusses the possible causes, consequences, and prevention measures of reactor runaway, including the appropriate design of the reactor, operation strategy, and early warning detection system. Assessment methods for thermal risk analysis and criteria for reactor runaway are detailed, along with the design of operation strategy for semi-batch reactors. Significant works on reactor design, operation, and safety are collected and evaluated, with suggestions for further research areas to improve thermal safety knowledge.

Summary: This study investigates the potential, tight relationship, and interaction between bacteria in the I. ricinus microbiome. It is found that endosymbiotic bacteria can provide I. ricinus with essential vitamins, and the survival of pathogens such as Wolbachia spp. or A. phagocytophilum may be supported by the tick itself through the metabolic pathways provided by symbiotic Spiroplasma ixodetis. Manipulation of the tick's endosymbiotic microbiome could be a promising approach for controlling I. ricinus and the spread of emerging bacterial pathogens.

Summary: This review discusses factors other than genetic alterations that may play a role in the origin, evolution, and progression of myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs). It highlights the importance of exploring non-genetic mechanisms and provides a summary of studies investigating these factors. These studies focus on MPN cell-intrinsic or -extrinsic factors and their interaction through various approaches.

Summary: The COVID-19 pandemic has caused significant health, economic, and psychological impacts globally. Chronic stress due to social isolation and fear of contagion has led to increased rates of anxiety, depression, emotional eating, and PTSD. It has also resulted in higher rates of substance use and antidepressant drug use. The mental health deterioration among children, adolescents, and healthcare workers is particularly concerning, with increased suicide rates reported. These psychological effects can have long-term consequences on physical health, such as the development of eating disorders and obesity. The burden on the healthcare system has also increased due to the worsening mental and physical health of the population. Therefore, it is crucial to take systemic actions to improve mental health amidst the ongoing global economic crisis.

Summary: This study examines the current state of organizational vision knowledge base with a sustainability focus through an Integrated Systematic Literature Review. It reveals that organizational vision scholars have emphasized organizational productivity rather than sustainability productivity. This knowledge gap is crucial for sustainability scholars and practitioners, as organizational culture with vision as a core component is a prerequisite for sustainable enterprise development, and sustainability transformations entail fundamental changes in cultures towards sustainable production and consumption. Drawing from the identified knowledge, a model linking organizational vision and sustainability-related organizational performance is derived, providing significant theoretical, empirical, and practical implications for corporate sustainability.
