Summary: Ovarian stimulation is crucial for the success of in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer, and the use of GnRH-ag/GnRH-ant can enhance its effectiveness in challenging cases such as poor responders and patients with elevated progesterone levels. It allows better cycle programming and follicular synchronization, resulting in successful outcomes.

Summary: GnRH agonist co-therapy is effective in preserving ovarian function during platinum-based chemotherapy in patients with ovarian malignancy, reducing the risk of low AMH levels post-chemotherapy and improving menstrual resumption and quality of life. It provides a therapeutic reference for gynecologists, especially in economically and medically underdeveloped areas.

Summary: This study analyzed data from 632 women aged 30-44 without infertility history who were attempting to conceive for less than 3 months, and found that increasing AMH levels were associated with longer menstrual cycle lengths.

Summary: The management of endometriosis-related infertility is a challenging issue, with surgery and IVF being the two main treatment options. This study aims to compare the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of these two approaches, and potentially influence clinical practice and resource allocation.

Summary: The study aimed to explore the role of anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) in predicting the need for increased recombinant FSH (rFSH) dose in polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) women undergoing IVF/ICSI cycles. The results showed that increased AMH level was an independent factor for the need to increase the initial rFSH dose in PCOS patients. AMH could serve as a predictor of the need for initial rFSH dose.

Summary: Turner syndrome (TS) is a chromosomal disorder characterized by the absence of the second X chromosome, affecting about 1 in 2500 female births. TS is associated with primary ovarian insufficiency (POI), with only a small percentage of women achieving pregnancy without egg donation. This review evaluates the clinical use of ovarian function markers in TS patients and reports on the transition from pediatric to gynecological and adult endocrinological care in a Danish center.

Summary: A retrospective cohort study on 110 patients with deep ovarian suppression found that a modified GnRH antagonist protocol based on LH levels during the second ovarian stimulation cycle resulted in significantly better reproductive outcomes compared to continuing with GnRH agonist long protocol. The use of modified protocol led to higher ongoing pregnancy and live birth rates, and lower cancellation rate, suggesting that patients may benefit from adjusting their treatment based on LH levels.

Summary: This study found a significant correlation between serum AMH levels and endometrioma, with levels being lower in the endometrioma group. There was a negative correlation between serum AMH levels and ovarian volume containing endometrioma, although it was not statistically significant.

Summary: This study investigates whether anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) can predict the number of retrieved oocytes during double stimulation (DuoStim). The results show that serum AMH values can be used as a clinical tool to predict ovarian response in IVF cycles following DuoStim. This is beneficial for patients with poor ovarian response and those undergoing medical fertility preservation.

Summary: This study suggests that the ultra-long GnRH-a protocol during IVF/ICSI can reduce early miscarriage rates in women with adenomyosis, especially in those with diffuse adenomyosis. Additionally, women with diffuse adenomyosis may benefit from higher clinical pregnancy and live birth rates with the ultra-long GnRH-a protocol compared to the long GnRH-a protocol.

Summary: Female patients undergoing anticancer treatment are at risk of adverse ovarian outcomes, and AMH can be used as a biomarker to assess ovarian reserve and POI. Chemotherapy or radiotherapy consistently led to reduced/undetectable AMH levels, but partial recovery was observed during follow-up. Oligo/amenorrhea was associated with post-treatment AMH decline, suggesting impending POI. Long-term follow-up of pediatric patients showed significantly lower AMH levels compared to control groups. AMH can identify the damaging effect of cancer treatments on ovarian function, but further studies are needed to determine its diagnostic and predictive value.

Summary: This study analyzed the changes in anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) levels and the factors influencing ovarian function in breast cancer patients before and after chemotherapy. The results showed that age, menarche age, baseline AMH level, and GnRHa application are the most important independent factors for the protection and recovery of ovarian reserve in premenopausal women with breast cancer.

Summary: This study evaluated the effect of GnRH agonist or GnRH antagonist therapy on bleomycin-administered rats by examining ovarian follicle counts and AMH levels. The results showed that the simultaneous administration of GnRH agonist or GnRH antagonist can reduce the harmful effects of bleomycin on ovarian reserve.
