A completely monotonic function involving q-gamma and q-digamma functions

In this paper, the monotonicity property for a function involving q-gamma and q-digamma functions is investigated for q > 0. An application of this result provides a sharp inequality for the q-samma function. Our results are shown to be a generalization of results which were obtained by Alzer and Batir (2007) [2].
