Synthesis of trifunctional, e. g., electrically conducting, optical, and magnetic nanochains of Ni-core-Au-shell, has been discussed here. Properties of the materials were investigated from the view of its application in bionanodevice. Our investigation indicates that such material attached to biomolecule DNA chain and having three main properties in one material will have great potentiality in medical instrumentation and biocomputer device.
