The study was based on trawl fisheries resource surveys conducted between 2010 and 2022. The results show that all fish species had r2 values and estimated b values within the expected range. Summary: Otolith microstructure analysis was used to study the growth and mortality characteristics of YOY striped seabream from Gokceada, Turkey. The average daily growth rate was found to be 0.317 mm, with individuals settling in the demersal environment after 26 days. Hatching times were concentrated in July and December, with an instantaneous mortality coefficient of around 4.61% of daily mortality.
