Summary: NCFB is still considered an orphan disease in pediatric age, with postinfectious being the most common cause. Chronic cough is the most frequent symptom, and lung function tests demonstrate stability of FEV1 and FVC over time. Despite microbial differences in airways colonization, there was no difference in respiratory exacerbation rate among groups. Early identification and prompt diagnosis could help reduce exacerbations and improve lung function stability.

Summary: This study demonstrates that retinoic acid produced by symbiotic segmented filamentous bacteria in the intestine can enhance host intestinal epithelial defense and mediate early innate immune protection against Citrobacter rodentium infection.

Summary: The study found evidence for species-specific positive and negative interactions in intercropping, demonstrating that different species of vegetables can have significantly different yields in intercropping. Soil legacies were found to play no significant role under moderately high nutrient environments.

Summary: In this study, multiwavelength follow-up observations were conducted to search for a host galaxy and persistent radio emission associated with FRB 180309. The localization of the FRB was improved to a region of about 2' x 2', and several candidate host galaxies were identified within this region. Further analysis on the properties of these candidates, including redshift and radio emission, suggests the possibility of isolating a single host for this highly luminous FRB through follow-up spectroscopy.

Summary: For individuals with initially detected ILA, follow-up CT at 3-year intervals may be appropriate to monitor radiologic progression; however, those at high risk of adverse outcomes on the basis of the quantified extent of fibrotic ILA and the presence of honeycombing may benefit from shortening the interval for follow-up scans.

Summary: The study demonstrates that subtherapeutic photodynamic priming (PDP) enhances nanoparticle accumulation in tumors, reduces tumor collagen content, and decreases extracellular matrix density. Combining PDP with Doxil effectively delays tumor growth and improves therapeutic outcomes.

Summary: This study conducts spectroscopic follow-up of a microlensing event to derive the properties of the microlensing source and estimate the mass and distance of the lens. The results indicate that the source is a red giant located at a distance of 8.5 kpc from Earth. The lens is estimated to have a mass of 1.1 solar masses and a distance of 5.5 kpc. The absence of significant blend light in the spectra suggests that the lens may be a main-sequence star.

Summary: Observations of astrophysical transients have led to new discoveries and insights into extreme conditions in the Universe. Dedicated procedures and follow-up systems are necessary for multi-wavelength and multi-messenger observations. This paper describes the transients follow-up system of H.E.S.S., which enables versatile and largely autonomous transient follow-up campaigns.

Summary: Coeliac disease is a lifelong immune-mediated enteropathy that requires strict adherence to a gluten-free diet for symptom improvement and mucosal damage prevention. However, many patients still consume low levels of gluten despite strict adherence. Regular follow-up is considered best-practice, but there is a lack of data and poor execution in the community.

Summary: The paper investigates Isaac Newton's Latin paper on thermal science, particularly focusing on Newton's Law of Cooling and temperature measurements. Experimental results were conducted to reproduce the original findings, especially in high-temperature regions, and the study also addressed the impact of natural convection on cooling processes. The reason behind Newton's publication of an anonymous paper on temperature measurement above the boiling point of water was also explored.

Summary: Retroperitoneal sarcomas (RPS) are rare malignancies that can be cured by surgical resection. After surgery, regular surveillance is recommended due to the risk of local recurrence (LR) and distant metastasis (DM). Despite the lack of definitive evidence, dynamic nomograms can predict recurrence patterns to tailor surveillance and relieve patient anxiety. A proposed randomized controlled study aims to provide clarity on the optimal follow-up protocol for RPS patients.

Summary: In patients with CDH, survival has improved, but they now face new late comorbidities such as chronic pulmonary and cardiac dysfunctions, neurodevelopmental challenges, and specific nutritional requirements. The focus of clinical care for CDH has shifted to addressing these late morbidities.
